Shaking and choppy vision that looks like i'm missing frames
I'm suffering from mild shaking and choppy vision that looks like i'm missing frames. Recently came off all hard drugs and stopped smoking weed daily. Vision has slightly improved however doesn't seemed to of fully clear up. It like trailing vision in right eye in my peripheral vision. However this isn't

Phytanic Acid
Sisira brought the subject up, in the context of red meat. He quotes Dr. Myers" "He says in more than 100 papers in scientific literature that he has read, phytanic acid present in these foods can promote the growth and spread of prostate cancer." & "Dr. Patrick Walsh in his book "Guide to Surviving

Cold numb feet, trouble walking, leg pain.
I'm still having a hard time dealing with these supposed somatic symptoms. Brain and cervical MRI came out clear except for a few bulging discs. Trembling, vision problems muscle spasms, frequent urinations.Unfortunately I believe I've been misdiagnosed with anxiety and depression . All my symptoms

Radical prostatectomy & bone oligometastases?
New study below. My RP surgeon told me that his second patient, with lesser cancer than me, was stapled back up after the pathologist found cancer in one of the lymph nodes. I wonder how that man felt when he learned that he still had a prostate. I can't believe leaving it in had a neutral effect on

b12/folic acid deficiency treatment/getting better advice
Hi PA society, Thank you for existing, there seems to be people much more informed than the average doctor. I apologize if these questions are answered on the forum already, I have looked through but thought someone would have updated advice. strange symptoms led to a random b12 test and folic acid

Just need to vent!
Hello, Been to the doctors today after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment only for the doctor to barely look at me and pretty much refuse to listen. My b12 was as low as 149 last year but my most recent test was 284. I've never had any treatment but was taking a vitamin b complex prior to this test

Diagnosis + 18 years; update since Xofigo
I finished Xofigo last October. My experience with it was good. Minimal side effects, no complications. Pain relief from multiple bone mets started after about 6 weeks on Xofigo. PSA was .66 on completion of Xofigo treatments. Unfortunately in January I fractured my T7 & T8 vertebrae in a fall. Fortunately

Post Radical Prostatectomy on 5/9/17
I'm new here. I was recommended to the site by Jim, who I played golf with today at Little Bennett. Post NIH Bethesda surgery biopsy: Adenocarinoma. Gleason 8 (4+4) with tertiary pattern of 5 involving 20% of the left and 5% of the right lobes. pT2c. Perineural invasion present. No definite extracapsular

Live Life...
I am new to this site, but not new to cancer. Friday, August 18th will be my 8th round of chemo (taxotere). I also receive firmagon shots once month, along with Xgeva once a month. Experiencing bone pain, and a bit of neuropathy pain in feet. Had a radical prostatectomy two years ago, then cancer

Statins & PCa Mortality.
New Danish study below. Anyone can get a statin prescription in the U.S. it seems. I asked for 40mg Simvastatin for PCa 7 years ago, although my lipid profile didn't really warrant & I didn't have any cardiovascular concerns. The situation in Denmark is perhaps different. Those prescribed a statin

Chronic fatigue but bloods all normal
Is it possible to have PA when B12 and haemoglobin test are in normal range? My B12 level is just over 600. I've had chronic fatigue and IBS for nearly 20 years, and whilst the IBS has been pretty much cured by taking high doses of kefir for 6 months, the CF just doesn't get any better. I started taking

How long to wait for Active B12 test.
Hi Everyone, I have been posting here since March when I found out I have Iron deficiency anaemia and Vitamin D deficiency these results are improving with supplements now. I also think I have Vitamin B deficiency as I have a lot of the symptoms including neurological ones. I have recently done a Medicheck
