Cardiovascular side effects of Lupron?
I have had premature ventricular contractions show on stress EKG's for 40 years; doctors said "harmless". When RP failed after 7 years, I started Lupron 2 months ago on top of vitamin C and alpha Lipoic acid infusions, and many supplements. There was a period when pulse rate fell in 40's, but now back

Is it possible that panic attack and anxiety triggered frequent PAC/PVC, and the PAC/PVC eventually caused afib?
Does it sound resealable?

Acid reflux
Hi all, I've had reflux to some extent since my late teens. Found out I had a large hiatal hernia in 06'. I had surgery to repair it in 08'. Everything was great for about four years,no reflux or stomach issues and didn't need any meds or any anti acids. Then I started having a little reflux again. Had

12 Mile Walk Tomorrow - Should I?
Hi All, I have a 12 mile walk tomorrow in the bedfordshire countryside. Seeing as its really cold in the UK at at moment should I risk it? Or should I just go and wrap up warm. I currently have empthsyma with a FEV1 of 60%, SATS are good between 97 - 99% George

Back home after cryoablation
Hi all, just got home from hospital a couple hours ago. Everything went well, EP was very happy with procedure. I was in afib when I showed up, had been for three days so he didn't have to get it started. Afib stopped during ablation and they gave me some type of super adrenaline to see if I would go

Fundoplication /anasthesia worries Operate ...or Not
I am suffering from severe reflux which I seem to be aspirating constantly into my lungs. This has damaged my lungs so badly that I have lost possibly 65% of my lung function. Currently, my FEV1 is 0.88. and my FVC is 1.60. I cant do very much without becoming very breathless. But I try to walk on

Second Spirometry Test
I had my repeat spirometry test today after 6 weeks of taking Spiriva & fosair. My Fev1 is now 103% (was 93%) my fvc is 134% (was 128%) fev1/fvc now 66% was (62%. The nurse says this still means there is a mild obstruction. I am.just trying to get it straight in my mind. Is it it worth taking the meds

Full lung function test results
Hi, So i have been to the hospital today and had my full lung function test. The technician wouldn't give me my full results but I badgered him for my FEV1 and FVC numbers and he gave them to me. I was told I have a FEV1 of 2.4ltr and a FVC or 2.63. The results are playing on my mind a bit, so I

Found my One and Only Proper Spirometry Flow chart today, Makes one think unless I am misreading it
So by proper I mean sitting in a cubicle with nose clip and face mask:) My other ones have been desk-top units one in Russia and one at my UK ex GP (ex because I was removed from the surgery list for not going to visit for over 6 months) Readings did not really give me cause for worry and I wonder why

Multiple heart issues
44 yr old male. I had a massive "Widowmaker" M.I. one week before I turned 38 y.o. One year later I had an ICD implanted due to CHF and cardiomyopathy. For the most part (although considered disabled) I have lived a pretty good life despite having an EF ranging from 10-25% at different times (fluctuating
