PVCs on exertion

I have TERRIBLE PVCs ...and NEVER At rest. If I do ANYTHING that gets my heart rate over 70 THEY DONT STOP!! No one can help me and make them stop. Beta blockers were helping but made my heart rate go down to thirty sleeping...and 40/50 standing up...still very low. I’ve had every test done and all come back normal. I’m scheduled for an ablation but with all I’m reading I still can’t believe I don’t have some level of heart disease that is bringing these on ...when I only get them on exertion, and they’re missing something. I’m becoming a crazy person OBSESSED with my heart stopping..Anyone have a similar story ...with a successful outcome??

Hello Pebbles

I trust that you have consulted with an electrophysiologist (cardiologist who specialises in heart rhythm disorders) An arrhythmia on exertion is not uncommon, and I would recommend asking for perhaps a 48 hour ECG monitor. Or even an exercise ECG stress test. The EP (electrophysiologist) will then be able to interpret this and decipher whether there is an arrhythmia and tailor the best treatment for you. You might find our booklets "Identifying the undiagnosed person" and "Which ECG Is Right for you" helpful. You can download them from heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...

Hi i have ectopic heartbeat and raising heart beat since last year in Oct. Last January it was worsen where my heart rate raising up for no reasons. There was a day I almost fainted and had taken the beta blocker for the first time and hope it will be the last time. I was crazily looking for solution and digging more information about what happened to me. It was really disturbing my quality of life. I feel much better now but I have to be more alert what triggers it.. Because sometimes it comes back and really made me upset as I thought it was gone. I need to maintain on regular physical exercise (by the way I just walking almost everyday 1-2km - at first I was really slow but now I can walk fast and even can run, even so I just maintain walking fast than running run as I am afraid of raising heart beat. Besides, i have done regular breathing exercise. I did the blood work and at the moment I am restoring iron and vitamin D. I am taking fish oil everyday and make sure I am not dehydrate, too exhausted or lack of sleep.. These help a lot.. But I believe the one that always trigger it, is the food. I bought a book that listed food to reduce and to avoid.. Apart from that list I have to figure it my self what food could trigger it. Last 3 days my heart fluttering.. I felt the ectopics and raising heart rate. Today it back to normal. I have to think what has triggered it last few days b4 that I was feel calm and free from palpitation.. I am still working on getting myself better and free from this problem.
