Can anyone help.
I was called in to see my G.P last Friday regarding my
PTH
result. She informed me that it was 16.0 (1.6-6.9), I also have low normal calcium and vit d of 66. The lab has put Secondary hyperparathyroidism with low normal calcium, possibly due to low vit d.

vitamin levels are in advice sought please?
My previous post was concerning my vitamin d level, which was 32nmol/L and whether this reading was low enough to warrant a diagnosis of Hyperparathyroidism, even though my adjusted Calcium level was 2.21 (2.2-2.6),
PTH
is 13.7 (1.6-7.5) My thyroid tests came back as TSH 5.3miu/L (0.3-5.0) T4 19pmol

Failure of Parathyroids months after Total Thyroidectomy. .alphacacidol
I asked my Endo yesterday because my
pth
on a downward slope if I could have alphacacidol then I could cut down the calcichew he reluctantly agreed because if I take them they will help me come of Cacichew but will most likely completely finish my parathyroid off ..what should I do and what r your experiences

Help deciphering results?
PTH
23.2 / 19.2 / 10.7 I've been on a minimal dose (50mg) of T4 since last year, although they're trying to take me off it after I asked to try T3 (10mg), which I was on in the Feb readings.
