Anger after postnatal psychosis?
I had post natal
psychosis
in May 2022 and was admitted to hospital for a few months. I later had another psychotic episode in March 2023 and was readmitted to hospital, again for about 3 months.

What are the chances?
What’s the probability of a young man with chronic major depression disorder and a history of mild
psychosis
one day having a severe psychotic break and does something that can’t be undone? If he did it while not being aware of it. I don’t want to literally lose my mind one day.

psychosis sucks
Anybody have any coping tools during
psychosis
that would help? What do you do when the voices are telling you to do things you don’t want to do like kill yourself or that they’re going to kill you. I’m telling you these voices are not anything good. It gets really dark as well.

Hello everyone xx I am wondering if those of you that had postpartum
psychosis
and Bipolar, also have got PME/PMDD and also had HG (severe severe sickness) when pregnant with your little one? I have/ had all of these and I also had an episode when I stopped breastfeeding.

New to group and a survivor with encouragement!
The nurses thought I had postpartum
psychosis
, but the doctors didn't think so because almost all the scientific literature says that PP happens within a few weeks of the birth.

wrong possible diagnosis?
Has anyone that’s been diagnosed with cyclothmia also had an episode of
psychosis
with extreme mania? (Mine was delayed post partum
psychosis
at 10 months) I’m really confused.

L-Dopa side effects - psychosis
Mucuna sometimes helps a little but when it’s dosed too high, it makes dyskinesias and
psychosis
like madopar. Neurologist recommend Quetiapin and rivastigmin but this didn’t improve the side effects. Has anyone experience with a smiliar situation or an idea what could help?

Second baby nerves
I'm due my second baby in a couple of weeks and am trying to prepare as much as possible but as the time creeps closer it's hard not to remember/relive elements of the
psychosis
and depression I had with my first.

Should I have more kids?
Hello, I experienced severe post partum
psychosis
. I was hospitalized for 2 months my daughters first year of life and it took me years and many many hours in therapy and on medication to recover. My daughter is now seven and we’ve adopted our son and I’m starting to titrate off of medication.

Is therapy worth it?
I have a long history of suicidal ideation and attempts, severe major depression, if I don’t take my medicine I could experience symptoms of
psychosis
. That means voices and stuff for those who don’t know. What do you think? I’m sick of asking my family this question.

I have challenges with Major Depression with
Psychosis
for over 10 years. It has affected my relationships, and several jobs. I feel lost and lonely. I’m seeking friends that can relate and understand.

Getting back into work
Hi I'm trying to get back into work following pp, but I am worried I might get overwhelmed. Has anyone else had to get a job pp and found an employer who was understanding? Has anyone got any tips about minimising stress job hunting/in a new job? What has your experience been like?

Undiagnosed PP
Hi Everyone, I am new here after coming across APP recently. I was very unwell after having my daughter 3 1/2 years ago, and I have finally come to terms with that fact it was PP. Unfortunately this was missed by many professionals at the time, the midwives on the ward following the birth, the perinatal

olanzapine
My husband without my knowledge was skipping some days of taking his olanzapine. He had a psychotic episode. The PA filling in for a dr was taking him off some meds (depakote) and up with others. Nothing was working so I requested a dr. He was originally on 5 mgs. The dr. Put him back on depakote and

Feeling watched, please help!
It doesn't help that my body feels different since having
psychosis
. Has anyone else felt a similar thing before? Like the CIA is watching them for an experiment? I made the mistake of reading about MKUltra which the CIA did in the 70s, and this has made it even worse.

Postpartum psychosis
May I please ask if anyone has had postpartum
psychosis
and gone on to have more Children? What was it like? Did you have support from medical professionals and if so from what point in the pregnancy? Did you get PPP again with a second, third etc?

Talking about PPP
I had PPP in November 2023 after the birth of my beautiful daughter. I was in a psychiatric ward for 10 days and MBU for 5 weeks. I still take a mood stabiliser but off antipsychotics and have been for a few months. My closest friends and family know what happened, with my family being a great support
