Tumor Mutation Burden
Just to add that I had 6 Pluvicto treatments with undetectable
PSA
since 12/22. The last Pluvicto was in April, 2023 and June
PSA
was undetectable. In Sept it shows 3.00
PSA
and scan showed multiple lymph nodes that unfortunetaly cannot be radiated (1 is too close to duodenum).

Sufficient Investigation?
The GP was reluctant to give him his
PSA
result and said it was too soon after his obstructive episode. About 2 months ago he found from the nurse taking blood that a prior
PSA
was 8. That is the only result he has had.

No more enzalutamide: docetaxel next up
PSA
up to 3.9 but it’s worked for 3.5 years. Also got a new lesion in my thoracic spine so in addition to docetaxel, a single dose of radiotherapy. Hope that will all be underway within a couple of weeks.

"Two Invitae CHEK2 variants of "unknown consequence""
Hello - My Hopkins MO says this genetics test indicates a weakness (CHEK2 is one of the 4 or 5 PCa related variants) he thinks this could have contributed to my premature, two year BCR after RP, so he will likely prescribe chemo sooner than later though
PSA
will be the prime indicator.

Seeking Hope or Similar Stories
PSA
18. His clinical dx is T1c. He had 6 out of12 positive biopsies. All were 4+4. 5 were 40% and 1 was 60%. He has the PSMA test on Monday. The doctor doesn’t think it has metastasized but I’m terrified because of the cribriform. Would he just be telling us that now so we don’t worry?

My most recent PSMA scan showed further progression of metastasis in bone and lymph nodes and my
PSA
has increased fairly rapidly. Currently taking both Orgovyx & Nubeqa. I'm hoping some of the smart and well versed members might weigh in. Thanks

BAT trial
After 1 week my
PSA
flared from 50 to just over 90, in other circumstances this would have sent me into a major meltdown but the experts assure me this is a common occurrence and it is possible my
PSA
will remain elevated while I receive the testosterone boosters.

What’s after Lu-177 in Vancouver, BC?
PSA
decreased considerably after the first Lu-177 infusion but sense then it’s been climbing slowly (~4.00 currently). What’s next? I’m his eldest daughter, 27, and I just can’t bear to see him in this position. I feel hopeless and devastated.

Finished 8 Rounds of Docetaxel
Before starting Docetaxel my
PSA
was 23.8; after 8 rounds my
PSA
dropped to 5.7! My MO is giving me a 3 month break. I will get another
PSA
in 3 months and we will reassess my situation. My MO has already told me my next treatment will be pluvicto. Hopefully I won’t need it for quite a while.

Prostate cancer but normal PSA?
A month after my diagnosis and prior to any treatment, I modified my diet and started supplements and dropped my
PSA
by 30% from 29 to 20 just with diet and nutrition. Yesterday, they did a follow-up 1-month blood panel and my
PSA
came back as 2.7!!!

Finally I was able to get a PSMA Pet scan to ID the source of the
PSA
. I had trouble getting support for more radiation, but finally got it zapped. Palliative of course! Following the high dose proton beam radiation my
PSA
has been reduced to 0.01.
