Provera (medroxyprogesterone)
Hi there everyone, I hope you’re all having a lovely day wherever you are. I was only recently officially diagnosed with endometriosis after having an MRI for it. During the consultation I was given two options which was either starting a course of medroxyprogesterone to see how I’d get on as it may

Bowel pain, bleeding and colonoscopy
Suspected Endometriosis due to pain and bleeding, this is being managed with
Provera
and transexamic acid. Anyway, the most recent problem is bleeding from my bottom. Spoke to GP and had blood tests and the QFit test (poo sample).

So he wants me off continuous
provera
. Ideally he'd like me off HRT altogether as it's making everything worse, but my mental health would really suffer. I'm to start zoladex on 29th December with addback HRT of utrogestan (I don't want to stay on the synthetic progeston) and estrogen gel.

Going Private
I'm 50, currently on continuous
provera
and estrogen and I'm bleeding heavily. I have 5 growing fibroids and I look pregnant every day. I have no idea how big the fibroids are now but they were approx 5cm back in May. I can feel them now.

Worried about taking Provera for late period
I also have a cold as well, and I don't know if I can go through the stress of taking
provera
and also having this cold, which has given me a bad headache, a blocked nose and sleepless nights. Has anyone else taken
provera
and what was your experience?

Endo pain after surgery
However, pre surgery I was dealing with random bleeding and post surgery it was the same so 3 weeks ago, my consultant changed me from
Provera
to Yasmin. In the past week, I’ve noticed the bleeding getting heavier and my pain has gotten worse - almost like it was pre surgery.

Depo-provera 3 monthly injection experiences
Hello,Me and my consultant have decided to try depo
provera
3 monthly injections as the next thing to try to help manage my endometriosis. Just a quick post to see if anyone has a positive or negative experience in terms of side effects and if it helped with the endometriosis? Thanks 🙂

mild IVF? not great so far.
I did a week of estrogen priming with
provera
in the previous luteal phase, then started Clomid on day 3 and Meriofert & Fostimon & Zomacton on alternating days. Today was my day 6 scan and I was so disappointed to discover that I have 1 lead follicle at 11mm and 6 less than 6mm.

how to contact gynae
I'd been put on
provera
for 3 months more than 3 months ago now, and was told by my gynaecologist to stop taking it if I felt new breast lumps. I did, and stopped taking it as ordered.

Hi I’ve been prescribed
provera
tablets to help regulate my periods,I’ve had a look online and it says to take them an hour away from thyroid medication, would you say this was right? I have to take it twice a day.

Why do some AN grow quickly over a short period of time, could stress or hormones play a part?
Im 48, not pregnant, but i am on the contaceptive injection called depo
provera
, but considering ive been taking this birth control for 10 years, the consultant didn't seem to concerned. I also mentioned stress and i was told that stress doesn't make a difference.

Provera
Has anybody tried this and did it help with pain? My gynecologist has just prescribed this to see if it helps with pain then failing this it will have to be a laparoscopy

Too young for keyhole?
I've been put on
provera
for three months and then they're going to do another ultrasound to see if anything has changed. I had two ultrasounds done a few months apart and the cysts are getting bigger. The doctor said he was reluctant to do keyhole because of my age? I'm 29?

FET Worries
Hello everyone, had my baseline scan for our FET and everything’s gone well, I’m to stop
Provera
and wait for a menstrual bleed (good news all round), but for some reason my emotions seem all over the place today, I’m finding myself worried about everything and nothing, is this ‘normal’?

asking about heavy bleeding
Hello I was diagnosed with endometriosis in November and I was bleeding heavily, doctor prescribed (
provera
and Tranexamic acid). After taking these medications, my bleeding got heavy with pain, then the doctor changed it to Prostap injection with a tablet called Tibolone.

alone and hopeless
I’ll still be on my
Provera
medication and so I’ll still be getting all the side effects and my consultant has already told me they can’t remove all of the endo. Sorry for the rant but I feel so lonely and hopeless
