Help deciding on treatment
Discovered this forum a month ago and have found it to be a wealth of information, with very educated/informed members. Hoping that you can spread some of your wisdom and help my finalize my decision with treatment. I've posted more details in my profile as well as write ups from MSKCC on my Biopsy

Hello - So my third post ADT initiation (Lupron+Abi) PSA test is coming up and since it was <.1 six weeks ago, I asked how the criteria of “has stopped working” works -to my Hopkins MO and I got this - “We want to declare a therapy no longer effective when PSA is clearly going up. We look for 0.3

SBRT to three bone spots 10 months ago still showing on PSMA PET
SUV started at 15 then 7 now 3. Has anyone experienced similar reduction time, did they eventually resolve completely? Concerned that they might still be hot and grow back. PSA has been stable 0.08.

Getting Tired of This Sh*t
Hi Gents, Prior to having my fifth round of Pluvicto, I had bloodwork done at Quest Labs. I had the lab perform orders from three separate doctors. For some reason, they ran my PSA two times from the same blood draw. I had two different results: 21.51 and 30.0. Prior to my infusion at Stanford today

I am BRAC2 positive with a G9 and mets to lungs. Started ADT March 23, two cycles of chemo last fall, currently on Nubeqa and Orgavix. Last PSA was .1. The nodules and lymph nodes are gone and I was turned down for radiation to the prostate. My diet is beyond clean, never thought I could do it, but I

A 4 Year Journey
I had a Prostatectomy in July 2020. My PSA was a 5.0 and my Gleason was 3+4. Cancer did not penetrate outer wall of gland. Decipher score was 64. Did Kegels and PT for incontinence....nothing helped and today still very much incontinent. In May 2022 my PSA began to steadily rise from undetectable for

Lupron Question.
I have been on Lupron since June 2022. September 2023 Abiraterone and 5mg of prednisone was added. Psa was 19 in Sept and dropped to 1.26 as of Jan. 11 2024. Since going on Abi when I get a monthly Lupron shot I have trouble sleeping that first night and mild flu like symptoms the next day. I have agreed

Darolutamide 1200mg/day?
Lately my MO has put me on 1200mg a day of Nubeqa or Darolutamide with 3 monthly Zoladex injection. My PSA was 6.4 & was reduced to 2.4 in 5 weeks. So that is good, but my question is, has anyone here been on that amount of Darolutamide a day? & What is it doing to the heart? not to mention liver

Gleason score change from 3+4 to 3+3 with perineural invasion noted under Active Surveillance
I recently had an MRI and PSA about 11 months into Active Surveillance. The MRI showed no change & PSA has moved from 4.2 to 3.6 to 3.1. While a rectal biopsy done 11 months ago showed one core of Gleason 7 (3+4), I just received results of an MRI guided Transperineal Biopsy. The encouraging news us

mCRPC end of ADT--staying the course.
My dad saw his oncologist yesterday. My sister and I were there; we both read “Being Mortal” and watched several videos on the subject. The MO brought in the PSA test and said it was time to start considering a treatment change and the next steps were chemo and there was also Pluvicto. What happened

My 80 year-old dad with MPCa, broke his leg and now seems to be giving up. Advice on best anti-anxiety meds desperately needed.
Dear PC family As you will see from my profile my dad in England has been on his prostate cancer journey for five years. He was doing well until March, still actively farming though fatigued, and was due to start Radium 223 in April. Sadly, he broke his leg on March 12 in a fall, was put in a full-leg
