Blood in urine and stools

5.5 months post Ralp my dad is experiencing microscopic blood in urine and stools. Has anyone else experienced the same ? PSA is stable at .09 since 40 days after surgery(tests done at 40, 90, 150, 165 days post Ralp).

For the blood in urine there is the posibility that the catheter was removed before anastomosis had fully healed. There is a test procedure to verify tightness in advance, but most catheter removals are done blindly. This doesn't explain blood in stools though.

Did he have radiation?if so radiation Proctitis and cystitis

The post and bio say he had RALP or RARP on Jan 19, 2024. I think that is robotic-assisted prostatectomy.

Yes it was RARP. No radiation involved so far.

Try HBOT it worked for my radiation cystitis, don't know if it would help in this case.

Hyper barbaric oxygen therapy .. it is used to reverse damage caused by radiation. No radiation involved in my Dad s case.

Microscopic blood in urine and stools is fairly normal but should be checked out by your M.O.

This far out from the surgery, you need to let your doctor know about this ASAP.
