Progesterone

I’m on thyroid meds /-eltroxin .I take these in the morning on an empty stomach I’m going on the above HRT meds . Shall I take them in the evening after food ? Eltroxin states on the leaflet that HRT may Interact ? Pharmacist says there should be no interaction ? Maybe I should get my bloods done

I’ve managed with a yam based progesterone oil, which is somewhat helpful, but I can’t help but think I could possibly feel so much better with some HRT help.

So, I am currently taking HRT estrogen gel and progesterone tablets. I feel good on HRT. I don't cry anymore and mentally I'm much better but my body doesn't seem to like the estrogen. Should I STOP taking the HRT?

I’m now panicking that I will miss a 2nd Lubion injection and i’m not sure that substituting with a pessary is the right thing to do (although better to have some progesterone than none, surely).

What are your thoughts on including progesterone in your hrt regime if you are in surgical menopause and previously had severe endo? My hysterectomy included endo excision by an endo specialist. Is it necessary?

At my scan earlier initial my nurse said about maybe starting the progesterone on Sunday with the aim to do a transfer on Thursday or that it could be pushed a little later as the clinic likes you to have 11 days of progynova before starting pessaries and that no further scans would be needed.

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone else is on the desogestral (progesterone only) pill. I had a laproscopy in December 2022 to discover stage 4 endometriosis and it is also in my bowel. They suggested desogestral to help control it. it has been working fine until now.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this gut issue after starting progesterone? I am not usually sensitive to medications and there doesn’t appear to be anything in it which rings alarm bells for me.

After about 6-8 months the pain returned monthly (mainly around the time my period ‘was due’ and I was prescribed a progesterone only pill alongside the coil. This also seemed pretty effective up until July this year when the pain increased tenfold.

At egg collection I was told my progesterone was too high for a fresh transfer (probably because of all this timing) - My cycle was slightly shorter the past cycle so the nurse always planned for me to start on day 18.

Hi all, I am having FET in Spain and they want me to do a progesterone test and send results on the same day. I am currently in Liverpool and nowhere says they do same day results. Has anyone got any suggestions about where I could go?

I was on progesterone aspirine and immune protocol on my successful round. We also have male factor (less than 4milion) I dont think im pregnant but have this pulling sensation sometimes and ic shows faint lines. Thanks P ❤️

First was 183 HCG and 117 progesterone. Todays was 484 HCG but 98.3 progesterone. I know I’m probably worrying over nothing as my clinic seem happy with these results but once again looking for reassurance that these numbers are ok? I’m having my third (and hopefully final) beta on Friday.

Timed transfer with natural ovulation and just used progesterone support. Untested 4BB and 4BC embryos transferred. BFP.

I am currently taking progesterone pessaries and intramuscular (every other day) and I was wondering… how often did your clinic check your progesterone levels after transfer? I got my levels checked on the transfer day and everything was fine but that was it.

I’m just worried my progesterone level might drop and they weren’t keen on re-testing.. said I’ve got to speak with Dr on Friday when I have the transfer.

My clinic said my progesterone was low on transfer day despite how much progesterone I'm on and am just feeling a bit deflated and could do without this. Thank you x

I’m 12 dp5dt Hcg 555 Progesterone 26 ng/ml 72 hrs ago - hcg was 151 Prog - 36 ng/ml And in transfer day progesterone was 44 ng/ ml So although hcg rising progesterone falling! I’m worried !
