Desogestral and endometriosis

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone else is on the desogestral (progesterone only) pill. I had a laproscopy in December 2022 to discover stage 4 endometriosis and it is also in my bowel.

They suggested desogestral to help control it. it has been working fine until now. The last week or so I have started to experience more ovary pain again. It has been a year and 3 months on this treatment.

Has anyone got any experience on this drug? Does the real hardcore pain come back? I don't think I can handle that again

Hi, I was on Desogestrel for 4 years which completely stopped my periods! However I've been off it for 3 years and my periods have been worse than ever before. I've not been diagnosed with Endo yet, I have my first Lap on Monday.

I’m currently on it. I was diagnosed February 2023 and have been on desogestral for about 8 or 9months however in the last few months the pain has crept back but no where near as bad as it use to I’m hoping it’ll stick to a more manageable level.
