Stopping flecainide advice needed
I suffer with SVT and idiopathic VT, for which I take 50mg flecainide x1 a day and I also take 10mg propranolol at least x2 a day. I went for an EP study and ablation last year in October but unfortunately the ablation was not possible, due to not being able to set off any SVT or VT episodes. I stopped

bladder cancer
I have bladder cancer, I am 85 years old, to take out bladder is out of the question. I will have BCG first for 6 weeks and after that probably some chemo. Has anyone had this I would like to know more about it.

Not recurred in almost 5 years
I got regular bursts of self-resolving Afib since the age of 19, ten minutes here and there. During this time I was chronically low carb dieting and overexercising. My longest episode was in 2019, at age 29, where I woke up in it. Went to A&E and it self resolved about 10 hours later. Had PACs/PVCs since

travel insurance
Hi All, Had an OHS to have an AVR in January. Recovery is going well, albeit a few PVC now and then. Planning on travelling to India in December with my wife and 2 children. I need some advice on travel insurance regarding sort of cover I will need and insurance providers that do such covers etc.

severe fatty liver
hi everyone, I’m new here and just feel so totally confused, I know you can’t diagnose etc but just a little help and understanding would mean so much , I was diagnosed with fatty liver about 4 years ago, I was not told that it was severe until a few months ago when my Dr suddenly decided to re check

Frequent palpitations making me feel rough
I had a successful ablation for AF in October but I'm still suffering considerably with PVCs. My EP has said that they are okay but they are making me feel ill. Sometimes it is every other beat, sometimes one in seven. I hadn't had many for 4 weeks but over the last 4 days I've had several episodes lasting

Ectopic Beats
I have had ectopic beats for some years but it was always infrequently. I recently started getting them more often and had a 24 hour holter monitor. I was told there were isolated PAC and PVCs totalling 50 in 24 hour period. They are now happening much more frequently I would say every 2/3 minutes

Worried about consistent blood in urine
I’m wondering if anyone else has consistent blood in urine only picked up by a urine test? For the last few months I seem to get symptoms of a urine infection regularly, however when my urine is tested all that comes back is traces of blood? Feeling so anxious about it.

does anyone have interstitial cystitis?
I have been experiencing pain when peeing for coming up to a year now. I have got my urine tested probably over 8 times over the past year. Every time it comes back clear, or they tell me to take an antibiotic and then send my urine off to the lab but then it comes back normal. I feel a ripping, burning

Hello my lovely support group ! Can I ask for reassurance please ? I am in Spain with my family, and although I got through all the getting here ( I’m very nervous of flying ) and it all took a lot if arranging because there are 10 of us, I have only had a very brief episode of Afib. My Afib has actually

bisoprolol giving anxiety attacks
Hello everyone! i started taking bisoprolol for pvc’s 2 years ago. But now i have a feeling I’ve become intolerant to it. I’ve been waking up nauseous, anxious and constantly getting adrenaline rushes. I tried stopping and i felt good, but on the 3rd day i got another panic attack probably a withdrawal

Managing PVCs
Hi Three years ago I had an ablation for my long standing PAF. Touch wood, I’ve not had a full blown episode since. However over the last 12 months I have been getting an increasing amount of PVC episodes. These often last for two to three days and are really debilitating. Sleep is almost impossible

Palpitations
I know about the risks of stroke when you have Afib, and I take Warfarin, but just out of interest, do ordinary palpitations, like PVCs and SVEs also present a risk ? Annie
