I have bladder cancer, I am 85 years old, to take out bladder is out of the question. I will have BCG first for 6 weeks and after that probably some chemo. Has anyone had this I would like to know more about it.

Hi, My grandma had bladder cancer in her 60’s , so she had an operation to remove half her bladder. It was cured after that and she was fine with half a bladder. Hope all your treatment works for you. All the best.

Hi there, I'm sorry about your diagnosis. I've been dealing with bladder/vaginal pain for the past two years so I empathize with you. Having bladder pain causes me so much anxiety and misery. I recently saw a show about Cardinal Francis George describing his life of pain from polio and then his diagnosis of bladder cancer later in life. It was very inspirational and I suggest you check out his story and ask for his intercession to help you through this illness. Here's a link to his story: ncregister.com/interview/a-...

There is also a book called Glorifying Christ by Micheal Heinlein. It talks about his heroic effort to glorify God despite feeling horrible physically. I don't know about you but I find life a struggle and that's a message I definitely need.
