Still in pain and waiting for MDT, any advice about pain relief?!?
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with stage 4 endo (bowel, uterus, ovaries ect all stuck together and may have gone into my bowel) and I'm waiting for the endo specialist to have an MDT meeting (happening 2nd march) in the mean time I've been trying different pain relief, so I'm now on the depo injection

Graves disease and Hashimotos thyroiditis
Hello. I just wanted to ask if anyone has been diagnosed with Graves and Hashimotos with some thyroid Opthalmology and a benign nodule and cyst. I feel like I'm the only one! How can someone be hyper and hypo at the same time. My endocrinologist says I'm lucky, she hopes they will balance themselves

I'm taking prescribed codeine for tooth problems. Can I take fybogel to help the constipation issues? I'm finding conflicting advice online.

Reflections on a PSP journey
I've been a member of this community since my husband, Tony, was finally diagnosed with PSP a year ago - but haven't posted any messages until now. Sadly Tony lost his battle with the condition earlier this month and I wanted to write something about our experiences. But also to say how helpful it's

Thyrotoxicosis PLEASE HELP
I’m overactive and took carbimazole at first. Just over a year ago it was discovered that my neutrophil count was at 0, so I stopped carbimazole and was referred for radioactive iodine. I declined as I wanted to exhaust all my options before doing something that drastic. I went to a doctor abroad who

Supplements are Useless... Really! Let me dispel that notion
Just read this entire thread - https://healthunlocked.com/parkinsonsmovement/posts/141176703/supplements-useless And the smug assurances of originator of this thread has me furious as well as dismayed. My wife, with me in tag, visited the neurologist late December 2019 for a checkup. She reported that

Best levels to aim for.....
Following advice from my Cardiologist, I was referred to an Endocrinologist. After tests which included a nuclear thyroid scan, I was advised to have Radioactive Iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism which was carried out on 21 Jan. I’m due to have blood tests soon, prior to first review with Endo on

RLS and Glutamate?
For me, sleep deprivation leads to an increase in anxiety and a marked worsening of my OCD. This leads to my being overtired and anxious, which then makes it even more difficult to sleep when the restlessness finally dips down to a manageable level. For a long time, when this happened, I would take

I scrub my hands, lay out a sheet and my instruments have been boiled since

Hi, I'm writing here about my 14yr old daughter. In November, I took her to see a GP, where her tiredness was discussed. GP said she would request thyroid blood tests. 2 weeks later, she had a nurse appointment for bloods. A couple of days later, I received a letter from the surgery, saying that some
