Sore Feet and Aching Body
Hi, had Graves disease, got nuclear iodine, now thyroid under active. Using the medication and my levels have stabilized. Want to know if anybody else suffers from sore feet and aching body? And what could be the cause. Thank you.

Nausea and underactive thyroid.
Hello! I am just wondering if it is normal to get nausea after starting Levothyroxine? 9th Feb my GP tested TSH only and Vit D levels. TSH 7.6 (range 0.27-4.2) Vit D 118 (range >51) I was started on 50mg Levothyroxine end of Feb but had a few adverse reactions (which my specialist nurse says is nothing

Advice on bloods
I am posting this for my daughter - she is in the process of joining but can’t post yet and is desperate for help. She has had various ongoing health issues since her teenage years. She was diagnosed with PCOS when she was 24. She developed gestational diabetes whilst pregnant and then postpartum thyroiditis

Iodine Contrast - content
I had swelling of the feet within a few days after CT with iodine with contrast. This could be coincidence but the following link states that some contrast agents have silicates in them. Silicates are the cause of podoconiasis (a syndrome like elephantiasis of the feet.) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Positive rai experience?
Hi I’m wondering whether rai is my next move. (Diagnosed with Graves, block and replace fail after 4weeks. 4 months carbimazole - B & R 6.5 months = 10.5 months of treatment in total). I know my endo will advise me to have this treatment when I see him soon. I’m not an assertive person so I know I may

Iodine kelp supplement
I have been taking levothyroxine for around 20 years. My most recent blood tests showed TSH to be 3.16 which is unusual for me a sim usually well controlled between 1.08 and around 2.5. I don’t want to increase my medication dosage. Would a supplement containing iodine or kelp help to improve my thyroid

Perspective on blood test results?
Hi everyone I am looking for some extra perspective on my blood test results. I think that most of the symptoms I'm experiencing are because I have quite high rT3 and bottom of the range T3. I am currently on 50mcg levo and 20mcg T3 with my doctor aiming to increase my T3 to 30mcg over the next few weeks
