Potassium iodide

Alternative therapies have been used as initial treatment or after treatment failure and include potassium iodide, colchicine, indomethacin, dapsone, clofazimine, and cyclosporin.

As of today, I have been taking Potassium Chloride of 10MEQ for about 15 days. I will go for bloodwork tomorrow to see if it is helping. My question is, Should I take my pill tomorrow before I go or wait until after? I assume the V.A. would let me know but so far they haven't said.

Natural flavouring has been added and it's potassium iodide. A google search states that this compound is used to treat hyperthyroidism .... so again not too helpful for Hashimoto people.
