DNA results are in! Can anyone help decipher?
Hi, I have just had back my results from Blue Horizon. I am trying to get my foggy brain around the results and what they mean, but I am struggling a bit, so wondered if anyone can help? (I hope you can read the pic attached, I have copied the text below) I have previously posted Thyroid results. Generally

My Little Story, of the UK and France
Hello peeps, long story short!! I was being cared for by very professional Doctors at Southampton General Hospital, many tests etc we've all been there, in the end I was advised due to the lack of Donors it would be a 50/50 chance of getting a transplant in time, and as I was not at that time ill enough

I recently got a copy of my results with everything they tested. There is currently a fully solid cyst in that little butterfuly, so its been worrying my doctor and I. Is it possible that anyone could make sense of them or give me some advice on next steps to take (waiting on an appointment for biopsy

Help interpreting blood test results
Sorry to be that annoying person who starts another thread but I hope someone will have some answers or advice for My specific questions: Do these results indicate Hashimoto's? Or Are the high TGabs by themselves not indicative of an autoimmune problem? My T3 isn't just extremely low but it is in

RAI treatment
Any success stories out there for people with Graves’ disease who have had this? I’m being advised strongly to go for this as a ‘cure’ after my third relapse in 5 years, even though carbimazole got these under control quite quickly and my consultant described my Graves’ disease as ‘mild’. I’ve read

CT Scan with Contrast.
They want to check my abdominal lymph nodes for any metastasis of the superficial, yet high grade (malignant), urinary bladder tumors. According to the pathology report, most were low grade with only a microinvasion into membranous tissue. Drinking the barium sulfate wasn’t too bad, except the last

LCHF could be a boon for Diabetes if practised scientifically, but beginners may face a challenge if he is a vegetarian !
As a T2, You feel great with LCHF diet - thanks to this forum, you keep getting tips from the veterans to overcome the initial hurdles. It is a science - now getting recognised all over as a solution for obesity and diabetes. Once you undetstand the science and practice LCHF, you don't feel like

Please can someone check my results?
Hello again, I’ve been trying to investigate further since I was here last. I have hashimotos and I can’t understand why my levels have got so much worse since I was first diagnosed a few years ago and I’m desperately trying to reduce the feeling of fatigue. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Sjogrens

Amazon voucher treat.
On a lighter note, I completed the AMD survey for my Amazon voucher, I used it to buy a bottle of my husbands favourite malt whisky. A real treat for him. I have also found by asking the hospital not to use the iodine wash, my after Eyelea injections, the after agony has gone. Magic..... Don’t suffer

Great news, not so great news and the AMD learning curve
My 1st Eylea injection in my left eye was June last year after which I've gone from every 4, then eventually 6, 8, 10 and now a 12 week gap between injections. The great news is that after my next injection in another 12 weeks they will stop but continue to monitor as the wet MD is pretty well dry now

Hi who has felt "normal" on levothyroxine?
Treated with radioactive iodine when I was 13 for hyperthyroidism and Graves' disease. Successfully treated and now hypothyroid. Currently taking levothyroxine but stopped for a few months and felt fine. Lab results came back and was extremely hyperthyroid with high cholesterol but mentally felt more

A Phase II Study of Curcumin and Vitamin D in Previously Untreated Patients with Early Stage Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) or Small Lym
Background: Current therapies for CLL/SLL have frequent toxicities, are non-curative, and several trials have demonstrated that early treatment of the disease doesn’t result in longer overall survival. In high doses, both curcumin (CM), from turmeric, and vitamin D (VD) have been shown to be safe in
