Calcium Oronate
I have osteoporosis. I presently take a calcium citrate supplement (together with vitamins K2-7, D3 and other supplements) to try to strengthen my bones or at least stop further deterioration. This is as an alternative to taking medication as I am afraid of the many side effects. I have just read that

Question about a stone
She is on Ramipril and then they put her on
potassium
citrate
...which of course over loaded her system and she was hospitalized. She is off the
potassium
citrate
, still on ramipril. She was told by her doctor, who she has little faith in that they are just going to leave the stones alone.

3rd time Potassium Citrate has worked!
Last night was the 3rd time that I'd went to bed and had taken nothing for RLS as I'm not on a prescribed medication yet. I went to bed without symptoms, notices about 1/2 hr in that I was getting it in my upper body again. Took 2 tablets and did not wake up all night other then to use the bathroom!

Constipation relief finally
I have taken high intake of Magnesium citrate, high dosage of B1 ... but finally Mannitol has given me smooth relief. For the first time, multiple consecutive days. How do you spell relief?

Sorry I'm asking lots of questions at the moment - I'm pretty new to the Hashis thing and the intricacies of it overwhelm me at times! My GP recently referred me to a neurologist re. numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. It's mostly noticeable at night, when I'm horizontal, and it keeps me awake

Paroxysmal AFib and magnesium.
Hello everyone on the forum. Hope you are getting better everyday and benefiting from the experience of the members. I have been advised to try magnesium citrate or magnesium oxide 200-400mg a day as it will improve the symptoms of AFib. I posted before that I was diagnosed with paroxysmal AFib and given

What are your thoughts on RAI, thyrodectamy and potassium Iodide?
I had gone to the doctor when my son was 7 months with complaints of weight gain and hair loss and was told that I looked good on paper with my thyroid levels still within the normal range, except I was on the very low end. In 2005, when my son was 18 months in August, I began having the classic hyperthyroid

Diet/supplement changes for 2019
I feel I got to a point of being a but "stuck" over the last couple of months - with no obvious vitamin/mineral deficiencies I had got my TSH down to 2.7 over a 2 year period (started at 30) and T3/T4 all look in the right ranges. I have not checked TPO for a long time - will do so over the next few

Does L-tyrosine lower TSH and raise FT4 please?
After posting "Muscle Stiffness" on here 3 days ago, 5 people commented that my TSH was too-high normal and my FT4 too-low normal, and may help to explain why my muscles are still stiff despite stopping a short 12 week course of statins in April 17, 2 years ago. So, I would like to know if L-tyrosine

Hello - I posted a few weeks ago as I was getting tingling in my feet at night and, after hot baths particularly, my fingertips. That's now progressed to my feet tingling all the time and a numbness creeping up my calves at night. My left hand's also getting numb (the outer fingers especially) at night

Slow progress getting TSH down
Well 2 years in I am down to 2.7 and I have to say I feel a lot better. Now on 75 dose levo. Very recent Blood test absolutely fine for B/zinc/copper/iron/ferritin/D so have done what I can in these departments. The annual free blood test only covers TSH and total free T4 (very top of range) and I
