Lopressor dose titration
Permanent afib 100mgm of Lopressor am & 50 pm plus eliquis. Decided to cut back to 50 in am because of blurred vision and now have had upset stomach times 1 week plus HR back up to low 100's. Thought I felt better on lower dose but maybe not??

I feel lost, defeated...
I had an appointment with my neuro today. The tests I had gave me answers and more questions. The good news is the episodes I have are not epileptic seizures. BUT, she isn't sure what they are. She thinks it might be, Psychogenic Seizures. There isn't a test to prove it for sure. Stress!!! Stress is

Anyone with experience on a stress test with afib? When afib starts I can't breath. I've had several treadmill stress tests over the years. Just wondering if anyone has had an episode during stress rest.

Afraid of taking medications for anxiety
Hello, I am going through so much anxiety about being dependent on the numerous medications that my psychiatrist prescribed. I have schizoaffective disorder. One day it just happened and I was diagnosed in 2020. Just wondering if anyone out there feels the same way. I find myself pacing out of anxiety

Sleep apnea and PMR
Over the last year my sleep has been poor, and finally I had an overnight sleep study, which revealed severe apnea. I'm pretty sure this is new to me and I did some reading. Apparently there is a nasty connection between apnea and PMR (and RA). One source: "The co-existence of sleep apnoea in rheumatic

Suggestions For Reducing 'Off' Time
I sent this message to my Neurologist from Mayo Clinic who works under Eric Ahlskog who wrote “The New Parkinson’s Disease Treatment Book”. I am looking for any suggestions regarding how I can reduce my ‘off’ times that are becoming more and more severe. I’m trying to hold off on the DBS surgery and

can’t stop stressing
good morning everyone. Just feeling so stressed these past few days. I wake up with my heart in my throat and am immediately on edge. My main stress is focused on my husband. He had a major mental health event a few months back and he’s been down and out lately. He’s nowhere near what he was before but

Another Pred journey
I have been 5 years on Pred and 3 years on Actemra A bit of up’s and downs but did very well with no side effects ( except bone loss) Lately got to 3 and poof back to square one again after major flare. Up to 20 mg with a probable 2 year tapering schedule. Probably same thing will happen again below

Suboxone works!
As I stated in my first post, in May, 2023, I have had severe RLS for many years. I suffered augmentation after taking 4 mg Mirapex daily. In September, 2023, my sleep study doctor, at The University of Michigan, prescribed Suboxone. Also known as Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2 mg/0.5 mg. It is a sublingual

Struggling
I try to stay positive and live as stress free life as possible. I have damage to my nerves system, which causes all kinds of serious health problems. Remaining happy, calm and stress free is extremely important. I am going through a very stressful situation right now. Actually have been for a few months

I guess my question is : is my daughter being weighed down by unnecessary medications which are being prescribed to her so that a box can be ticked. I am concerned about the health of her liver etc. She is 45 and has been suffering since the age of 15. It is a form of BPD . The problem as I see it is
