Is St Johns wort ok to take with NDT? Feeling quite depressed :(
Feeling somewhat down right now - I think it's just a combo of the Thyroid symptoms (esp the weight gain and hair loss, and obviously the fatigue) and also sick to death of my aching ribs, still not sorted despite numerous doctors visits. Some days I wonder what on earth I'm getting up for - and struggle

Z1R3 the 5k. I braved the heat. Taking the zombie training up a notch.
I finally made it out for my run, I was starting to find it easy to find reasons to not go out. I like running I really do but it's easy to come up with excuses to not go. Of course very expensive trainers when you have no money is good motivation. So pep talk to myself done and I decided that I would

Goodbye Week 7 - Hello wedding outfit!
Blimey what a slog run 3 was - I had a really heavy weekend, busking (jiving) in Southend for three hours on Saturday and then a party in the evening another 3 hours of jiving - so I started out a bit jaded. I didn't really want to get out of bed and had to give myself a bit of a pep talk, but once I

So many people who don't have PTSD don't understand what it means to live with it daily. How do you explain PTSD symptoms to others?

PTSD return years later?
Hi, I had a 2.5wk ICU stay in 2003 due to septicaemia. Nearly died - was heavily sedated, ventilated along with a lot of other stuff. Very lucky escape. At the time, suffered horrific hallucinations and panic/anxiety attacks. When I finally left hospital after 6wks, I had flashbacks, nightmares and

I have been following the NHS Choices Weight Loss Plan, for the last 5 weeks, and managed to lose 11 pounds. However, we went away for the weekend and obviously it was difficult to count calories, I don't think I ate that much, but when I got back I'd managed to put 5 pounds back on!! My problem is I

Tips on how to beat that little voice inside...
Hi all! I am starting Wk9 tomorrow and am so amazingly pleased with my progress and this podcast, Laura is awesome! I've mostly been enjoying the runs that I've done, and feel so happy afterwards when you get the nod from Laura to do your cool down walk, but I must admit, I still get that little voice

Granny-Shuffle forever?
Hi everyone. Not posted for a while but hoping for some reassurance. I got to end of W7 then had to stop for a couple of weeks and started W6 . Did run1 twice and then run2 twice , but it feels so hard, even when I slow down so much that one foot hardly lands in front of the other. I don't think it helps

Anyone ever used St. John's Wort?
Hi everyone, so my therapist recommended St. John's Wort to me for mild anxiety. I was just wondering if anyone has used this? I have read mainly positive reviews and am really excited about this, but I am still very nervous about taking it. I bought a bottle from GNC (it seemed to be a good, trusted
