How much patience do we need?!
This will be my third
polyp
removal
and the process will be about 3-4 months until I can have FET. I’m so disappointed. I’m trying to see the next couple of months not as another terrifying delay but as a ‘break’ for me.

Unilateral oophorectomy recovery, really need some advice!
Cut a long story short, ive had numerous laps for endometrosis and was also diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome few years back. Last year i had a total hysterectomy leaving my ovaries but i had a ovarian vein embolization to relieve pelvic pain. With persistent cycle symptoms it was decided that

Carboplatin and Taxol - very scared!
Hi, soon I am supposed to start my chemo but I am extremely scared. Some people say it's unbearable, some say it's not that bad. Just trying to figure out some pattern there! Not so bothered about losing my hair but extremely scared of neuropathy as it obviously might never go away. I am a musician and

It's the 2nd
polyp
removal
in a 12 month period. The surgeon said he could not find any endometriosis. He found fibroids, polyps and a lot of scar tissue he removed polyps and fibroids and 95% of the scar tissue. It's been almost 3 months and there's no change.

Low TSH
I have a low TSH and low T4. (TSH hovers around 0.2) I’ve been on 75mcg Thyroxine for 20 years. My blood levels continue to go down but GPs have been instructed to only consider the TSH and not T4 therefore when I have my bloods done and go to my GP they are keen to reduce the dose. I tried this once

Oophorectomy and what to expect
I was wondering if anyone would share their experience of oophorectomy and what to expect after? Did it impact your sex drive? My consultant would like to remove both ovaries and I would like to hear peoples experiences while I weigh up my options. Thank you x

Laparoscopy- still feeling rubbish at WEEK FOUR! 😩😭
I had
removal
of endometriosis under my left ovary and a
polyp
removed from my cervix. I also had the merina coil fitted. I just don’t feel like I’m recovering properly. I have a constant pain in my left hip bone, left lower back and an area of pain on the left side of my ribs.

Mirena help-post coital bleeding
Hey, I’ve had the Mirena coil in place for over 5 months. I’m bleeding a lot more and currently on day 19. Any break I get we manage some intimacy ( carefully as can be very painful) and afterwards I’m back to bleeding. I’ve had enough of having to wear tampons 24/7. I’m spending more time bleeding

Elleste solo 2mg- manufacturers issue...what is the equivalent
Hi all Ive been on elleste solo 2mg since having my total hysterectomy and oopherectomy and have had no problem with it. My chemist now says they cannot get it and after ringing other chemists in my area have been told that it is unavailable due to manufacturing issues. I have even tried online chemists

Recurring Dermoid Cysts
Hi everyone! I'm new to the site, and had a question. December of 2017 I had horrible abdominal pain, and irregular bleeding. I went to my gyno, and he did an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed 3 complex solid cysts, the largest measuring 6.5 cm in diameter. I had surgery and he removed 3 dermoid cysts

Hysterectomy & removal of ovaries dilemma!
I'm new here but hope you can help me by sharing your experiences … I was diagnosed with endometriosis a year ago after a couple of years of pain. I am due to have surgery in 2 weeks and my consultant has advised a full hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries, together with excision of endometriosis

Possible Endo/bowel issues post Hysterectomy with ovaries removed?
Hi. I am 7 months post surgery (I had uterus, cervix, tubes and ovaries removed) and have History of severe stage 4 endometriosis and previous surgeries. My surgery was complex as my bowel had completely stuck to my uterus again and left ovary was badly stuck to my side wall etc. I also had a few endometriomas

After a
polyp
removal
in the last cycle, I’m now gearing up for my very first transfer in the new year. Can’t believe it’s taken nearly two years just to get this far. But I’m feeling thankful for the chance right now. 5 top-grade ❄️ just waiting for my body to be ready.
