Hi. I am 7 months post surgery (I had uterus, cervix, tubes and ovaries removed) and have History of severe stage 4 endometriosis and previous surgeries. My surgery was complex as my bowel had completely stuck to my uterus again and left ovary was badly stuck to my side wall etc. I also had a few endometriomas but no endo was seen elsewhere.
I’ve had the odd blip of pelvic pain/lower abdo, but generally had nothing else since I got over the original surgery. But I’m on day 8 of lower pelvic pain that’s come out of nowhere. It’s predominantly on my left side, but feels like it’s affecting my whole lower pelvic area, like it’s all inflamed and sore internally. GP has taken bloods but still waiting on results and thinking not much will show.
I just Wondered if anyone has had issues with endo or after everything has been removed? I’m on HRT as couldn’t cope with surgical menopause symptoms.
Thanks in advance ladies.

Had similar symptoms. Presume your on a combined HRT. I've starting keeping a log of symptoms to see if it's following a cycle again (I'm a year post op but prob starting questioning endo again back in sept). Even without HRT endo will find a way to feed itself and mutate. Could just be adhesions though,
Hi. I’m not on the combined hrt. My GP really seems clueless on HRT and my surgeon just advised oestrogen only (I’m on gel as allergic to plasters so didn’t want the patches) I might have ovarian remnant as well due to the surgery being so complex and ovary being so plastered to the side wall. So another worry of mine.
I know I will almost certainly have adhesions so yes, it could be this. I had an emergency surgery 6 days post hysterectomy and was found to hav adhesions already again then.
I may log my symptoms and see if there is a cycle. Thanks x
If endo an issue they should only prescribe combined so progesterone keeps the estrogen in check to reduce risk of endo again! Get referrred to menopause clinic
