Burning in feet at night, after eating, and after walking. Only 23, and don't know what to do?
HI, I'm a 23 year old male. I'm not as fit as I could be, but I participate in various sports totalling about 4 hours of vigorous exercise a week. I eat a fairly healthy diet, somewhere between ultra healthy and 24/7 Mcdonalds. I'm at the lower end of a healthy weight, but have a decent quantity

Hair loss
So my hair is coming out at a somewhat more noticeable rate than before and at times I wouldn't expect to see it. I know I'm not optimally medicated but my current fT3 level is 4.0 (3.5-5.5) vs 3.8 about five weeks ago and the hair loss is much worse than then. I'm pretty sure my ferritin is at a healthy

What do I do now?
Ok, the endocrinologist wrote to my GP saying that, despite my symptoms and an existing autoimmune condition, my TSH of 3.9 was normal and perhaps a T4 and repeat TSH could be done if it was felt necessary and if either of these fell outside the set boundaries then he would gladly see me but his opinion

GP Campaign (the second assault)
Right!! Dusted down, organised (for once), and determined (if not for a diagnosis, then at least some treatment). Tomorrow I am off to the GP, to try to force his hand to refer me to the renowned Dr D Cruz. The first assault took the form of a 3 month health diary to throw some light on my symptoms

Complex B
I am currently using this http://www.betteryou.com/multivit-oral-spray which does not have high dosages of anything, but I am a bit concerned about the citric acid ruining teeth even tho the spray contains xylitol. When I compare the dosages to for example Solgar complex B those are much higher, but

Hi, First post on here and looking for some advice from you ladies that have been / are in a similar position to me... I had abnormal cells in 2009 which were lasered off. Then in 2012 the abnormal cells recurred and I was given an acid solution which burned the cells off. My belly button was in pain

How many times have you told your story?
You’ve told your hepatitis story a million times. Now, tell it to those who can do something to help cure it. Act now by taking the HepPRN survey. http://www.hepatitisfoundation.org/RESEARCH/Patient_Registry.html You have you told your story in support groups, to doctors, to family and others.

vitamin B complex
I am a vegetarian and I take a vitamin B complex every day and also sevenseas "active" omega 3 fish oil for my joints, but I guess it should benefit more than that. I avoid taking cod liver oil as a doctor once told me it was high in cholesterol, which surprised and concerned me as it is so widely

vitamin b complex and b12
Hi i'm new to this and still feel like I have a lot to learn .I always think of these questions after i have attended my rheumtology appointments and don't always want to call the help line and take up their time for people in most need. Why do we take folic acid? and only once a week 3 days after methotrexate
