Living with Poly for 5 1/2 years now
I came down with poly almost 6 years ago. It took the doctors in my rural area almost a year to diagnose me. Finally, an older rheumatologist told me that I was not too young for this which at the time I was only 55. Other doctors told me I was too young. He prescribed a higher dose of prednisone.

Kidney Infection
So I was diagnosed with a Kidney infection a week ago and given anti biotics (Trimethoprin) to take twice a day for a week. I was doing fine and the infection seemed to be clearing up nicely, then Tuesday I started to get the worst pain in my eyes in work, like they were strained, accompanied by a headache

Vitamin deficiencies
After blaming my poor health (anxiety, fatigue, tinnitus, muscle aches etc) on hypothyroidism I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe it’s vitamin deficiencies. It was because of this forum that I pushed my doctor to test at least b12 and D and both were low - B12 - 288 D- 22 Magnesium 1.8 TSH .33

Which Vitamin b complex?
I am looking for a good vitamin b complex supplement. I struggle swallowing tablets though. I saw one on here called Igennus super b which is supposed to be small but looking online it says they measure 10mm diameter which seems quite big to me. I know I wouldn’t be able to swallow them if that’s the

Sleep at last
Hello folks, 3 months ago I began a cleaner eating regime. I cut out sugar, artificial sweetners, gluton, caffiene, tap water. I more than doubled the amount of fruit and veg, filter my drinking water and try to buy unprocessed foods. I did a bit of research and try to include foods which support my thyroid

Methyl Donor Micronutrients that Modify DNA Methylation and Cancer Outcome.
New paper below [1]. However, details in the full text. Great to see a U.S. interest in the subject of aberrant DNA methylation in cancer & the dietary micronutrients that contribute to that. In my posts I tend to focus on folate (from foliage) & folic acid (from fortified grain products or supplements

MTHFR mutations, along with diagnoses of Parkinson's (my father), Alzheimers' (my mother), Chronic Fatigue (me) autism (my son), and depression (my husband) are all within my immediate family - we obtained genetic testing results through 23andme. I spent over 20 years researching the biomedical aspects

Vitamin & mineral blood tests interpretation
Hi everyone, I've had nutritional blood tests taken for the 1st time and am confused about the results. I wonder why the vitamin B results are arranged like this. Dificient >1.25 and <1.15 normal . I would have thought it would be the other way around so the highest amount would be normal and lowest
