Hi Jazanne, I used to have lots of UTIs, my GP said it was connected to lack of oestrogen while on Letrozole. I read about the benefits of D Mannose which I have found very helpful. Doesn't always cure infections but helps with prevention and has often seemed to "head them off" for me. A urologist also recommended to my friend drinking water with a few teaspoons of lemon juice every day- quite refreshing! Good luck, UTIs are horrid.

I had them a few years before mbc and was prescribed an oestrogen pesssry which worked a treat..I asked my oncologist if this had caused the cancer to come back and she said no and she said she prescribes it sometimes for uti and vaginal atrophy

Real cranberry juice without sugar also helps. Actually I found the cranberry capsules from CVS to be very helpful if I felt like I was perhaps getting one.

If you’re on FaceBook, there is a wonderful group for chronic UTI sufferers. The info there has helped me a lot. I get 6-8 UTIs a year.

I am on low dose Cipro. I also take Dmannous and a biofilm antagonist: amazon.com/gp/product/B0792... I often get irritated and bleeding bladder but with no bacterial infection. For that I take this: amazon.com/gp/product/B0792... as well as amazon.com/gp/product/B0792... Hope that helps.

250 mg. I've also taken Keflex 250 mg daily until I started having more UTIs on that, then switched.
