Medichecks result: B12 way too high, TSH suppressed - T4 and T3 somewhere in range? Help please?
Hi all These are my latest Medichecks results, blood test taken first thing in the morning, fasting, no vitamins for a week, previous dose of Levothyroxine morning before. I'm really surprised because I'm not feeling well and these results indicate that I should be? Except for the high Vit B result?

TSH risen suddenly
Hi Following on from my previous post - My 7 year old daughter who was diagnosed with Hashimotos over a year ago has had a TSH of around 6 for the past 7 months (Endos wouldn’t increase due to SVT). It was gradually going down as well as her TPOs when we tested her 5 weeks ago..... Having tested her

Life after Hepatitis B
I am a 37 yrs old man, I had Hepatitis B at an age of 20 some 17 years ago. It was cured then and since then I have never had health problems related to liver. Should I be worried about future liver problems? What can I do to prevent these.

Shooting nerve pains. Healing? Or harming?
Been taking b12 1000mg for a wwek now and my tinnitus feels a lot quieter but I'm starting to get shooting nerve pains ...my bones feel sore inside like my heel bones especially. This is why I stopped taking it last time and stopped taking other b vitamins as well. I'm taking a complex now and less high

Advice please lovely people
So .. following on from my previous posts I had levo reduced from 150 to 125 in Feb. I have waited 7 weeks and retested. All usual protocols. Early morning pre food and drink, no B vitamins for 2 weeks prior. I’m due to see an NHS endo shortly and suspect he will say optimal. I have plans to go privately

Hi There I followed all the protocols advised before these bloods and I do not take b vitamins. I have come off armour 7 weeks ago. I am wanting to try and get optimal on levo and a seperate T3 if possible. I have followed advice on here to get bloods just based on Levo before adding T3. Any advice

Puzzling Results
I am puzzled about my latest results and need some help. I am 77 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 19 years ago when my TSH was 75. I was prescribed Thyroxine but I can't remember how much or how long I took it. I felt that it wasn't helping me , so I did my own research. I found out about NDT and

Sugar...
Is fruit bad for your liver? It’s fructose right? I’m trying to get off the cake, well down to one a week. Glucose is sugar yeah? But fructose is stored more in the liver than glucose? Shall i ween myself off cake with fruit? My consultant or doctor had never had a diet conversation with me. In fact they

Need help raising Iron
Hi all. I've taken a few tests in the past weeks and am at a loss over how slowly iron has been going up. First took an NHS test, which was taken at 11am on 18 Feb. I heard 10.15am on the phone, but turns out it was planned for 10.50am, yikes. Once I got seated the blood was drawn at 11am. No

Hello everyone, I’m new here and thought I’d introduce myself. I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism 6 years ago and took T4 medication. It made me feel better at first but then after a few months started to feel low again so saw a different doctor who said I was misdiagnosed (my first experience

Chapter 17. I dream of the revolution that must come... 2/2.
This is chapter 17 of a book I published in 2015, "A Different Way of Looking at Parkinson's. Almost 20 years of experience with my father's disease (1994-2012)" (only in Spanish). Although we have learned a lot more since that year, I think it can still be useful to most sufferers and family members

Update
Hi everyone! Just wanted to update you how I am doing. I am doing the best I ever have. I started taking methylated b vitamins because my body does not absorb folate. I forgave people I didn't realize I could, and surrendered to a higher power. I know this sounds cliché. If anyone wants to message

If people knew... what Parkinson's is.
If people knew how hard, how very hard Parkinson's can be, it would help us spread this information. Okay, not all of it, but not even vitamin B9 to control the neurotoxic homocysteine, just the right amount of vitamin B6 in 10-25 mg per day as indicated in the levodopa prospectus, or vitamin D to prevent

Hey everybody. I could use some advice.
I just realized something both amazing and shocking that I have been through. It's a long story. I will try to sum it up. I believe I have been misdiagnosed. I recently had a genetic test and found out I have a gene mutation that can mimic bipolar disorder among other things. It is called the MTHFR

MTHFR - how to increase ferritin?
Hi! I'm brand new here. I have learned so much reading over some other posts on this message board, thanks already! I've finally gotten on what I believe to be the right dosage of NDT for my Hashimoto's after 6 years of ups and downs. I'm currently on 160mg of Armour Thyroid and have a Free T3 at 3.8
