My psychiatrist recommended Vitex Agnes supplement, but there’s not a lot of research on it for PMDD

Wondering about anyone's thoughts - have they tried Zoladex etc, does PMDD cause pain?

I don’t want to come off Yasmin if it will help my PMDD as it was severe but if feeling like this is a side effect of Yasmin I can’t cope with that either ☹️

I went back to my consultant today because of the mood issues, he wanted me to try the localised progesterone dose first because of my pmdd and the risk to my mental health - I have suffered with depression for 6+ years.

Hey, I’ve just started taking Yasmin in a bid to try and reduce the endometriosis pains and PMDD … so far I’ve been very nauseous with really bad tummy aches … does anyone have any experiences to share on taking Yasmin and whether it helped at all? xx

I have struggled with what I believe to be (and at one point, as an adult,was diagnosed with PMDD), since 11 years old. I also started having anxiety when I was a little child, prior to that time.

I'm also incredibly sensitive to hormonal changes and I've found birth control difficult to handle, as well as that I've got PMDD and birth control has always made that worse. Can anyone share their experiences or just insight in general?

Plus I have been diagnosed with recently with PMDD and I have read that this can be caused by a non secreting pituitary adenoma. I also had an ATCH test years ago and was told it was normal, but my cortisol was borderline low.

I have PMDD as well. Since my insurance has terminated, I'm quickly running out of medications including Myfembree. Any help is appreciated.

Hello everyone xx I am wondering if those of you that had postpartum psychosis and Bipolar, also have got PME/PMDD and also had HG (severe severe sickness) when pregnant with your little one? I have/ had all of these and I also had an episode when I stopped breastfeeding.

I can’t start the birth control for pmdd yet since I can’t start two meds at once since I am “sensitive to medications.” I guess I have come to her with meds not working or making me crazier more than other patients.

Things were going well until Friday when my pmdd kicked in. I am now terrified that I won’t be able to control myself again. Is there hope? I see my therapist twice a week and a med doc monthly.

My PMDD also went from being two days to two weeks. Has anyone else had similar experiences? It's the only thing that's changed in the past 2-3 months.

I’ve been diagnosed with GAD and MDD but have had PMDD my whole life until perimenopause gave me a complete breakdown. I have severe anxiety every day.

there's me in debilitating pain especially my right side which shoots down my leg she did confirm on my transvaginal scan my right Overy is stuck to the uterus but said we can't do nothng til this procedure is followed so now after 4 months I have to wait to see where actually the endo is n why do I get pmdd
