Hey, I’ve just started taking Yasmin in a bid to try and reduce the endometriosis pains and PMDD … so far I’ve been very nauseous with really bad tummy aches … does anyone have any experiences to share on taking Yasmin and whether it helped at all? xx

I have struggled with what I believe to be (and at one point, as an adult,was diagnosed with PMDD), since 11 years old. I also started having anxiety when I was a little child, prior to that time.

Hello everyone xx I am wondering if those of you that had postpartum psychosis and Bipolar, also have got PME/PMDD and also had HG (severe severe sickness) when pregnant with your little one? I have/ had all of these and I also had an episode when I stopped breastfeeding.

I can’t start the birth control for pmdd yet since I can’t start two meds at once since I am “sensitive to medications.” I guess I have come to her with meds not working or making me crazier more than other patients.

I’ve been diagnosed with GAD and MDD but have had PMDD my whole life until perimenopause gave me a complete breakdown. I have severe anxiety every day.

I've had doctors gaslighting me my whole life, on top of my PMDD (which I know is directly linked to my periods) and have been simply turned away because I refuse to take anti-depressants.

I have severe depression and I am starting to think that I might have PME on top of it…every time my period comes the suicidal thoughts and depression get infinitely worse (despite being on meds). If you have something similar, how do you cope with this for that 1.5 week period in time? I can’t even

I am also dealing with a bereavement, and managing PMDD (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder).

Hey does anyone else suffer from PMDD Premenstrual Dysphoria Disorder on top of their anxiety ? If so can you share insight how you deal with both . I seen research state it doesn’t start until the age of 26 and great for me I have anxiety already and I’m 26 !!

Hey all, so due to Endo and PMDD I had a hysterectomy on 1st August. Last minute paranoia meant I decided to keep an ovary. My PMDD has returned and I’ve been getting pains in my lonesome ovary. Really struggling if I’m honest and have gyne next week.

Hi, I'm starting Sertraline in a few days to see if it helps with Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). I'm waiting on a consultant appointment and have resisted trying antidepressants for quite a while.

He basically tried to put me off having anything done and told me to take a double dose of my pill (POP) incase it's PMDD. Just wondered if anyone else has been told to do this and if it made a difference? TIA

Aside from that, can't recommend the surgery enough, due on my 2nd period & so far, both I have had no PMDD symptoms (in comparison) which was one of the main reasons for the surgery :)

Had my 1st injection in February for endometriosis and PMD but severe form called PMDD. I was normal for 2 weeks and 2 weeks before my period, I turned into a horrible human, such as anger, debilitating anxiety, extreme low mood, thought of suicide.

She called me this morning with the revelation of Bechet's which covers every symptom she has or has had including ibs, uveitis, skin issues, psoriasis, general malaise, bi-polar symptoms and pmdd symptoms.

I have always been suffering from homeonal acne since I was a teen however my pms/pmdd symptoms hv been so bad since 2020 doctrs fobbed me off with seteralin amitriptyline naproxen, it's in ur head live with it.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis this year, although I have been suffering from non-diagnosed endometriosis for over a decade along with PMDD. Since my diagnosis, I have been put on a waiting list to see a specialist consultant team in Edinburgh, to discuss what treatments are available to me.

I have 3 monthly Decapeptyl injections for Endo & PMDD. Everything was going well with regular appointments until my gynae retired. Since then my appointments have been all over the place being late & early. I am due my next jab at the beginning of Feb.
