Anyone used Zoloft for treat of severe anxiety and depression?
I have been on 100mg of Zoloft for about 2 months now and I honestly can't tell if it's working. I used to be on Prozac and was in a good place for awhile but then my meds got switched up and the Prozac stopped working for me. I'm really hoping Zoloft helps me because I feel like I'm back at square one

Paxil and weight gain
I’ve been on Paxil for 7 weeks to help with my anxiety. It has helped my IBS-d issues so much. My concern now is that I just want to eat. While Paxil is working for me, I really don’t want to gain weight. I just need some advice please.

Retinal thinning anyone? A sign of NPSLE?
Something funny to start the day! ☺️ A sign from an actual Texas restaurant that always has hilarious postings. Don’t you love when you have something wrong and no one tells you? Saw neuro-optho for follow up yesterday and apparently I have retinal thinning in upper, outer portion of my retina. I saw

How do you know if you have pleurisy?
I woke up with chest pain on Monday 29th March which is worse when I breathe deeply. I went to the emergency room, and ECG and temperature and oxygen sats all normal. I thought I was anxious but the pain is still with me today (Saturday) if I breathe shallowly it's ok, but then I need to take a deep

Depression
Hello! I was wondering if anyone could offer some words of wisdom or maybe just some encouragement. I was on Zoloft for about 6 weeks but i had the worst side effects on it so I got switched to lexapro. Lexapro was working well for me but my lows were very low and I was just very sad for days on end.

Covid antibody test & Mthx
This is 2nd antibody test I have taken after info from this site that the London Clinic perform these tests. (Expensive but to my mind worth it) The 2nd was after my 1st Pfizer BioNTech injection because I take a weekly 7.5mg dose of methotrexate. The result was antibody positive @ 15.5 U/uL. I cannot

Ruled by anxiety
Hi all. This is my first post. I'd like to say that I have been taking Effexor for years, and have been given Xanax as well, which I never take simply because I want to limit my intake of pharmaceuticals. The Effexor has done nothing for me, and it is so very difficult to wean off of it, which I decided

Paxil Symptoms
I’m on day 6 of of Paxil. First time ever taking it. I’m 61 and have IBS-d. My dr thinks Paxil will help because I’m always worried about everything. The med is giving me horrible symptoms. Nausea and no appetite. Scares me because it could be something else. Please help me and tell me these symptoms

Direct switch of meds
Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a direct switch of medication? I was on 150 mg of Effexor XR then went to 75 mg for 1 week then right into 100 mg of Zoloft. Effexor works good for me but I’m experiencing some OCD issues I’d like to control so my doctor and therapist said it wouldn

New here...anyone from Ontario?
Hi there, I have APS and moved to Ontario (near London) from Alberta 3 years ago. I have yet to find a doctor who has any specific knowledge of APS, and would like to. I was diagnosed in 2013, after being hospitalized with multiple clots (the main one was all throughout the IVC, extending into renal

Dealing with life after suicide attempt
Hi, I am new to this site and just looking to find mutual support. I have been dealing with MDD for about 10 years and have just got back home this week after a ten day stay at a mental facility because of a suicide attempt. I live in north Texas and so we are currently dealing with quite a bit right

Has anyone here been diagnosed with anxiety avoidance personality disorder? Currently trying to get my head round it and wondering if anyone knows of any good books, websites or other resources I can look at. Thanks

Pleurisy again?
So i find myself writing again of having the same symptoms i posted about 10 months ago. A sharp stabbing pain on either side of chest but mostly right, it’s not there all the time but it has been consistent when taking deep breaths or occasionally leaning / bending over. Anything like getting changed

Has anyone experienced insomnia while starting lexapro? How did you deal with it?
I have been on Lexapro for about 11 days now for anxiety and depression. I am not sleeping except for a few hours after taking a xanax. The xanax is working less and less as I believe I am developing a tolerance to it. Any advice on how others have tackled this would be appreciated. Maybe Ambien
