Hearing Loss ??
I have had Lupus for 17 years and have been taking
Plaquenil
all of that time. Recently I have been aware of hearing problems and after getting wax etc removed from ears I now have been given a diagnosis of moderate Sensorineural hearing loss in both ears.

APS and heart ablation
On
plaquenil
and aspirin. Today I was told I should undergo an ablation for SVT. Terrified! Has anyone had any experience with this procedure? Thanks.

Relative success?!
It literally says 'we have discussed the possibility of an evolving auto immune disease' and recommends
plaquenil
200mg twice a day for 3 months and a follow up appointment in 8 weeks. That's it. Nothing else. Is this common?

Still waiting for confirmed diagnosis
I know I will be on at least
plaquenil
to start (if bloods don't show anything). Does anyone know if this helps with hair loss or if there is anything I can ask the gp for? I'm not willing to lose my hair! Seriously frustrated...

About to start Plaquenil
I was prescribed
Plaquenil
today. It was called into the pharmacist and I'll be picking up tomorrow. I have no idea if it's generic (I'll bet it is) or what the dosage will be. Anyone have any advice regarding generic vs. namebrand/side effects/etc..? Happy New Year! 🎩🍾🎉

Is this a flare?
I've been on
plaquenil
since the beginning of November and actually have had increased energy levels and joint pains got much better. Now this. I'm praying you all are flare free and enjoying some bubbly tonight. Maybe that's what I need!!!!

Lip cancer
I would like to know if taking
plaquenil
is a contributor in getting these type of things. As a suppressed immune system can cause all sorts of problems. Also I have lupus rash quite severe at the moment. Has anyone else had these problems. I have to wait for lab results to see what happens next.

Waiting for diagnosis
I was told 5hey expect my bloods to be negative as apparently it can be early on, so will be put on
plaquenil
if negative blood tests and if positive will add immunosuppressive drugs and who knows what else. I'm tired if being tired and in pain and waiting to find out what the heck is going on.

Solve the puzzle????
Ok, so is this a side effect of taking
Plaquenil
or Lupus? For the past few weeks when I wake in the morning and I go to get my first cup of morning Joe, my mouth burns in pain when I drink my first few drinks. It is honestly like my mouth is raw!

Methotrexate stomach - any tips?
Not as bad as I get on
plaquenil
but enough to make my stomach feel a bit like a washing machine and less than confident.

Positive dsdna, then negative and my rheumatologist says I don't have lupus...
I don't have any fatigue, sleep problems, hair loss, mouth ulcers... just the joint pain that lasted for like 2 months on and off back in July, He took
plaquenil
off and told me to just take turmeric and omega 3.

Still Searching for a sense of normalcy.
Currently on sulfa med,
plaquenil
,Cymbalta and Tramadol. Have tried methotrexate and I cannot take, was very sick and worse pain on this. Doctor wants to change protacal again and begin biological, either Humira or Enbrel.

New to Hughes Syndrome
I am on 7.5 warafin, 200
plaquenil
2x daily, 30 mg Cymbalta for nerve pain.
Plaquenil
seemed to break my fever, and starting warafin I got better. I could hardly get out of bed and was really not all there before the warafin. It seems the higher my INR the better I feel.
