Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is feeling well today. Soooo.....yesterday I woke up and found this lovely shade of red on my stomach, chest, arms, legs and back. It does itch if I touch it. I started Plaquenil about a month ago. I have been feeling good but now this sprouts up! Any ideas if this is related to Lupus?

Love to u all!

Much more likely to be the Plaquenil and you really should contact your doctor and get it checked. Rash can be a sign of an allergic reaction - so far better to be safe than sorry.

Hi LucyK5821 ,

We couldn't say whether this rash could be caused by your lupus or not, but as PMRpro has suggested it would be best to go to your doctor incase this is a reaction to your treatment.

We have a booklet about skin involvement in lupus which may be of interest to you - lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Called the doc and she said it's the Plaquenil. Totake Benadryl and it should stop! Thanks for your replies!
