Is there anyone who has struggled the same !?
I’m a 17 year old girl who has always struggled with really bad heavy and painful periods since I was 11, it was always the first three days where pain was worst I couldn’t move walk talk or eat as when I did I would just get attacked with a really bad shooting pain on my lower abdomen, Dorctors recommendation

What actually happens with FET?
Hi all, We don’t have our next appt with our FS until 18/9 to discuss PGS results + next steps towards FET. Due to OHSS they want me to wait for transfer for the cycle after this one (due for period today after collection 10 days ago) but I am confused as to how it all works as I don’t generally get

Period after endometriosis surgery
Has anyone had very heavy periods after endometriosis surgery? My first one was very light but my second one is so heavy. My cycle length was a lot longer too. I don’t know if it’s the stress of surgery?

When does your period come back after dropping the combined pill
Hi, I stopped taking the pill at the end of July. I had the withdrawal as usual but I haven’t had a period this month (August). Last time I had sex was in February and I had multiple withdrawal bleeds as I would take a week break after I finish a pack of pills. Could I be pregnant or it just my period

Don't understand why my doctor won't diagnose me with endometriosis
I started my period at an early age of 8 years old. I suffer with irregular periods which are painful and lose quite a lot of blood clots. Also bleed in-between periods. Got put on the pill at 12 years old to try regular my periods, slow the bleeding and help with pain. Try several pills throughout my

Endometriosis
Hi everyone, I have suffered with extremely painful periods since I was a teenager and I'm now 40. I started taking Cerrelle to ease the pains. This started working after a few months and now the pains have returned 18 months or so later. The pains are horrendous! They start a week before and up to

What’s the BMI Cut Off Point for the Combined Pill?
So, I have PCOS and a few months ago I recently became sexually active after 3 years and told my doctor I wanted to be put on the pill. At the time, she told me my BMI was too high for the combined pill and put me on a mini pill (which was god awful and did not help). I’ve tried googling but no answers

Does a clomid-only IVF cycle work?
Hello again, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Sending love to everyone who is on this crazy journey! I am trying to decide between two clinics for my third cycle. One clinic thinks I should have a clomid-only cycle (minimal stimulation) and the other clinic wants me to take low-doses of Gonal

Preparing for Endo appointment, new blood tests with lower TSH
My GP doesn't think I have a thyroid problem and begrudgingly did a private referral when I questioned him about the possibility of central hypothyroidism or
pituitary
problems
, especially as recent cortisol saliva and blood tests showed low levels throughout the day.

Been told underactive thyroid but to come back in 3 months
Hello had a blood test recently due to cramp and muscle aches, doctor said repeat in 3 months. Went back yesterday due to consistent heavy periods, was told blood test showed high cholesterols and under active thyroid, again repeat test in 3 months. Once home, I realised the cramps and heavy periods

Cancel cycle? Back-to-back cycle?? 🤯
Hi Ladies, I would love some advice as I am panicking. I’ve just come back my last scan, got 6 follicles and they will call me this afternoon to confirm EC for Monday. But I am so incredibly apprehensive that I haven’t properly prepped for this cycle. I only read It Starts with the Egg this past

Not fully diagnosed
Hi, I'm new here and I'm looking for some advice. 5 years ago I had a hysterectomy due to extreme pain and bleeding during my periods. Pain so bad I couldn't function and blood loss to the point of 2 boxes of tampons and 3 packs of pads each month and I still bled through. Tried everything from endomatrial

Post lap
I had my lap last Monday (7 days ago today), they found endo on my uterus and flushed my tubes. For the first few days I didn’t bleed. Since then I have been stop/ start bleeding, but it’s not my period as I am on the pill (which I’m continuing to take) and my period isn’t due for another few weeks.

One day period
Hello, my periods are usually really quite heavy and last around 4 days. However, this month it’s lasts no longer than a day and it was a lot lighter than usual but I still had awful cramps. Why could this be? Thank you 😊
