Post lap

I had my lap last Monday (7 days ago today), they found endo on my uterus and flushed my tubes. For the first few days I didn’t bleed. Since then I have been stop/ start bleeding, but it’s not my period as I am on the pill (which I’m continuing to take) and my period isn’t due for another few weeks. I was told to expect bleeding but I’m not sure how long to expect it for. When I do bleed it’s quite heavy. I just wanted to see what others have experienced to see if it’s normal?

I had my lap last Monday too. I was told to expect some bleeding after the surgery and I did bleed for about 4 days (it was light and then it stopped)

I am not a medical professional, but the nurse told me if I had a heavy bleeding I should contact the hospital.

I think it's better to call and inform them about your situation to make sure everything is normal.
