We don’t have our next appt with our FS until 18/9 to discuss PGS results + next steps towards FET.
Due to OHSS they want me to wait for transfer for the cycle after this one (due for period today after collection 10 days ago) but I am confused as to how it all works as I don’t generally get regular periods on my own.
I have been told ‘we’ll start next cycle’ but to get a next cycle I would have thought I need to be medicated on this one so that I ovulate next month?
Anyway I’m a bit confused and would love an insight from anyone who’s been in the same situation. As you can imagine I am keen to crack on with this asap!

I think they mean you will have the bleed you are due now then on the next bleed after that you will start the FET process.
I don’t ovulate naturally and need a medicated cycle for FET this is how it worked for me: First day of bleeding was day 1, on day 21 I started burserelin injections to down regulate, about a week (that’s what is was last time) after starting the injections you have a bleed and then a week after that go for a scan to make sure your lining has all been shed. If it’s thin enough then start progynova tablets to start building it back up again and have another scan in a couple of weeks to make sure the lining is thick enough, if it is they set a date for the transfer and tell me when to start the progesterone injections. Every clinic is different though so this might not be the case for you. The whole thing for me was 10 weeks. That’s from day 1 right through to the day I took the pregnancy test. It’s frustratingly slow process but it does fly by once you start. Good luck! X
Oh thank you - this clarifies, I guess when I see my FS it will be around day 21 of this cycle (the one after collection). They told us 6 weeks after collection but looking at the timeline that doesn’t seem possible. The whole waiting thing is excruciating!!
