Diagnosis

Bowel endometriosis? In need of help, advice and your stories...
Hi all, I am wondering what symptoms of bowel endometriosis look like in other people? I find some websites really generic and wondered if symptoms can differ. I highly suspect I may have bowel endometriosis. I had my period at the age of 9 (I'm 25) and since then I have been suffering from intense

Period after laparoscopy?
I had my laparoscopy about a month ago and they removed two large chocolate cysts and got rid the rest of the endo which was wide spread. I still haven't had my period yet? How long does it normally take to come back? I also can't be pregnant. TYIA :)

Short Periods
Hi All, I’ve noticed the last couple of months my periods have been a lot lighter and shorter than usual, lasting about 3 days with only the first being heavy. This month though it only lasted 1 day. Should I be worried about this? I’m thinking there’s no way I’ll be able to get pregnant if they stay

Can clomid cause late period and severe pelvic cramp?
Hi everyone, I am on clomid 50mg my period is 4 days late. And I was experiencing mild period like cramps for few days later those cramps changed to sever sharp pains in my pelvic area. The cramp is not continous, it is usually once or twice a day, which lasts for 30 sec intermittently. Is it the side

Feeling pelvic pain everyday, GP told me looks like endometriosis?
Hi! I am posting here because I'm a bit desperate. I always have had painful periods. I took the contraception pill for 4 years, which helped a lot but I stopped 3 years ago to have a break. My period has been much better since then (some pain, but I could totally handle it) but then during the first

Should I be worried about high prolactin?
Around 3/4 months ago I had a blood test after coming off the contraceptive pill. They found my levels of prolactin were really high. I wasn't too bothered at the time because I wasn't experiencing any of the symptoms associated with it. The doctor told me prolactin can be raised in times of stress and

Doctors given up. Not sure what is wrong :(
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone else has felt this way too. I had a lap on 21st sept for suspected endo and none was found. Before my lap, a lot of my pain had subsided, I was able to go toilet every morning which really helped with my symptoms throughout the day and my pain levels. However, since

Longer periods
I normally have 5 days period. Over the last few months. My flow became lighter and lasted for 3 days. For the past 2 months, it is heavier and lasts for 7 days. Has anyone experienced this. I don’t want to see the doctor except I have to. I also had my tubes tied 18 months ago.

Painful periods since three months
My periods are painful since three months. I'm 19 and having periods for 9 years but I never got pain to the point it hurts to piss or poop, my abdomen hurts and I vomit on second day from pain. Could it be endometriosis? I cant stop thinking about cancer

Worried I wont be taken seriously
I'm sorry this is so long - I'm really struggling with all this. I have always had pain with my periods, I first went to the GP about it when I was 16 - less that a year after they first started, because my mum told me that the amount of pain I was in wasn't normal. I went on the mini-pill for a bit

Still bleeding after laparoscopy
Hello I had my first laparoscopy on Tuesday, and I am still experiencing alot of bleeding... When I woke up from surgery I was in a fairly large pool of blood, I soaked the 'puppy training pad' and a normal pad and the hospital bed sheets. I was told this was normal... It is now Friday night and I am

Natural cycles with endo
Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for 2 years now and got the mirena coil fitted during my lap. I’m currently thinking about getting my coil removed and either going back on the pill or just having a natural cycle for a few months. I was just wondering if anyone has come of contraception

I have suspected endometriosis
Hi everyone, Recently I have noticed a few ongoing symptoms or repeated patterns in my body or period cycle. I found my periods where extremely heavy (having to wear both a tampon and pad) and my cramps have become unbearable keeping me up at night. To me, I felt this is something I’ve always had since

Intense period. Very much done with it.
Periods for me mean intense pain. Pelvic, back, thighs. I’m down for most of my period days. Every single period since 11 or 12 years old. What I wanna know is: would some kind of sterilization surgery get rid of my period for good? I’ve heard it yes and I’ve heard it no. I’m lookin for something to
