Longer periods

I normally have 5 days period. Over the last few months. My flow became lighter and lasted for 3 days. For the past 2 months, it is heavier and lasts for 7 days. Has anyone experienced this. I don’t want to see the doctor except I have to. I also had my tubes tied 18 months ago.

Hello. I’m pretty sure your month would still be considered normal. My personal theory is that what you eat has a big impact, with less meat leading to lighter months. I also had the sterilisation. I don’t recall that making a big difference to my periods, but it’s a long time ago now. Take care, and maybe check out the NHS webpages.

I will do and keep observing. My period is usually bang on 5 days no matter what I eat. Thanks for responding.
