I’ve noticed the last couple of months my periods have been a lot lighter and shorter than usual, lasting about 3 days with only the first being heavy. This month though it only lasted 1 day. Should I be worried about this? I’m thinking there’s no way I’ll be able to get pregnant if they stay this way as my lining must be too thin?
Any advice welcome xx

Hi. After three IVF cycles this summer my cycles were both short (as in every three weeks) and then only lasted for a day or so. However when it came time for getting ready for my FET, my lining measured 7.7 mm five days before the transfer date, so, my doctor was not worried about the lining thickness. They put me on hormones to prepare the cycle.
Did you go through egg retrieval? Mine was light after retrieval, and very late. I think it's the hormones they give us. They should be able to prepare your lining with meds so it's thick enough.
I have had this too. I have had one failed fresh cycle of IVF. Mentioned to the doctors that my period have got shorter over the past 8-10months particularly last month. Only lasted one day and I had terrible cramping. However this cycle it lasted 4 days which the longest in a while. I have mentioned this but no one seems to care. Yet I don’t believe it is healthy to bleed for less than 3 days and the flow to be irregular too. I actually glad that someone else has mentioned this as my GP just seemed to dismiss it.
