Hi I had my laparoscopy last week and have started my period yesterday. It has been very painful. I think it has been worse because my body is still recovering from the procedure. I had just started to feel better and was able to walk a bit easier after struggling with this after the laparoscopy. Then my period came and I am struggling to walk again with hip, pelvic and stomach pain.

I had my laparoscopy just over 3 weeks ago and was on my period whilst it was being done so still in abit of recovery pain but today it’s worse which I think is because my period is due hope it gets better for you

I think it might take a few periods before everything settles down after the laparoscopy. Hopefully then we will have less painful periods.
