I said I still have a dull period pain now in my stomach and back and he said well yes when

failed round
Hey, we have just had a failed round of a fresh cycle. I see lots of people say they have had a failed cycle, but never seen anyone talk about how this physically happens. I thought if a cycle failed it would just be like a normal period ...this was so far from reality. I was bleeding so heavy, had

Microgynon 30 for stopping periods?
I recently had a referral to query endometriosis. I've always had pretty bad cramps with my period, resulting in fainting, vomiting or both. Since my teens I managed it with ibrupofen, which doesn't completely stop the cramps but was at least allowing me to be functional and not faint etc. I also

undiagnosed
Hi everyone! I was never diagnosed with endometriosis, though I always had heavy and painful periods, irregular cycle, and after two miscarriages my bowel movement during period was so painful I was screaming (like a knife in butt). I just became used to it, few Ibuprofen pills usually help through

Lap while on period?
I have my first lap booked in 2 weeks, and have just noticed that I should be due on my period that same day. No one at the hospital asked when my period was when booking the surgery, and there is nothing in my paperwork about when my last period was etc. My mum also had a lap (for fibroids) when she

Advice about treatment from NHS
Hi everyone, I started trying to get help from my GP for what seemed to clearly be endometriosis symptoms back in February. I got offered the combined pill (Gedarel) which made my symptoms worse with pelvic pain now every single day and a heavier more painful period and other side effects of the pill

First period after Laparoscopy
Hello everyone, Prior to my laparoscopy where I was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis I was in excruciating pain during my period and after 13/14 years started contraceptive pills so I wouldn't have my period anymore. I was thinking of stopping to pill to check whether the laparoscopy worked

Worst period pain
Hi, I had my laparoscopy last weds as I said in a previous post. My period arrived today and the pain is as bad as ever! I feel so nauseated and can't eat. My flow is as heavy as pre laparoscopy. My surgeon said there was minimal endo tissue that she removed and unstuck my left ovary. Any suggestions

Cycle length after IVF
Hi All, I’m just wondering how many of you have had egg collection done & then had a gap before having embryo transfer, & what your cycles were like in that time? I have always had 28-29 day cycles. I had egg collection done on 2nd May & have had 2 periods since then. My embryos have been frozen whilst

Hypothyroidism?
They are saying that the TSH is a patient with KNOWN
pituitary
problems
should be higher, yet there is nothing within their testing that has tested whether or not my pituitary is capable of producing enough TSH in response to low thyroid hormone.
