Has anyone had trouble with different brands of medication
A couple of doses of
Piriton
soon restored my good looks. After that I had occasional swellings of fingers, feet, lips and the tongue. Various skin prick tests with an allergy specialist showed nothing abnormal. I was advise to always carry
Piriton
which I have done since then.

Does Proton Beam therapy have any proven advantages.
Anyone have experience with Proton therapy...? The Dizzying array of radiation techniques out there promising to minimize SE's and providing more accuracy becomes overwhelming whether it be Stereo Tactic, Image Guided...etc..etc. Proton Beam is rather new in the field.... comments? Experiences??

I cant sleep unless I take Amitriptyline and told to take
Piriton
and use Dermovate cream. It's not working. I feel like I am going mad. Please see attached pictures. Comments welcome.

Xtandi for non MCRPC
Since being approved last July how many of you guys are in this scenario ? While my PSA was shooting through the roof in terms of doubling .08 in September when we caught it after Proton therapy and becoming partially castrate resistant to 3.95 in January it took Xtandi/ Lupron15 days to knock it to

ADT or Not?
I am new here. I am 60 years old and work full time as an engineer. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last August and set on Proton therapy. The doctor recommends ADT for 3-6 months prior to, and during my proton treatments, and says it will increase effectivity by 20-25%. But I am reading horror

Antihistamine
Rang nurse at hospital and she suggested trying
Piriton
to calm irritation. Although of course they knew of my steroid history last week, I didn't ask the nurse on the end of the phone today if it was ok to take
Piriton
and Prednisolone (4mg). Does anybody know if this is ok.

Help! Any experiences with Ozurdex implant?
Hi! Sorry if this is a long post, I'm new! Bit of back story; few years ago I was diagnosed with eye cancer and received proton beam therapy treatment for it. This worked excellent and killed off the tumour! As expected I've now begin to lose my central vision due to a bleed cause by radiation damage

17 months into Carbimazole - low blood pressure
Because I had a skin reaction to Carbimazole (successfully controlled with temporary
Piriton
) 4 months into treatment and also when my dose needed to be raised slightly again (after it had been lowered from 10 to 5 mg in January and I relapsed to hyperthyroid activity) we decided on a gentle lowering

Losing hope
The steroids i think do help with muscle pains and also whenever on steriods i have no more itch, so no need for
Piriton
. Note: My sister has Lupus and have always related to many of her symptoms.

which may be causing the current symptoms however at the end it was decided that I take a
piriton
at night as all antihistimines have a sedative action and that may help me relax!! Needless to say I have not done that either. I have been referred for a cardio-echogram.

Been afraid to ask my doctor what is going to happen to my rectum when he blasts my tumor. Anybody been through this one yet? The docs are shrinking it with the zytiga and lupron and it is working. Radiation to start in February. One more mri scheduled in December before it starts. No surgery possible

Confused! Need Information & Guidance
Prior to Proton Beam therapy, my SO’s RO prescribed a PET scan which has revealed possibly cancerous lesions in neck & rib. He already has 2 cancerous lymph nodes near prostate. (SO had Cryo after diagnosis 8 yrs ago but recent PET did not show any PCa there). So Proton was abandoned. RO says he could
