Introduction from a newbie
Hi, thought it was about time to introduce myself. I’m a 62 year old male, I consider myself to be fit and healthy, having said that I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in 2003. I was fortunate enough to control it by diet initially but it wasn’t long before I needed medication. I currently take Metformin

Update on BH Bloods and GP visit
Just had a really surprisingly good GP appointment, I'm gobsmacked (I want to know what that done with my real doctor lol). He gave me a full half hour and despite his initial panic at my suppressed TSH he sat and listened and also read the extract from Dr Toft that I took along. We have come to an agreement

PCa develops in prostatic epithelial cells. These cells are mot particularly mobile. A key event in metastasis is the transformation of the

Uncontrolled diabetes
I m 36 and my fast sugar level is around 165. My pp is between 250 to 300. I've been diabetic for the last 2 years. I don't take insulin but take metformin 500mg twice daily and syzigum jambolum and gymnema Sylvester as homoeopathy but it is still uncontrolled. I don't eat rice and sugary products.

Anxiety while using Metformin
Hello, I've experienced worsening anxiety symptoms while using Metformin 1750 mg for PCOS. I got heart palpitations with panic. So I decided to go off that. Now it worries me that my PCOS will go worse on its own. Is there any other medicine for PCOS? Or should I use lower dose of Metformin? I already

I'm new and very confused
Can someone help me? I was diagnosed with type 2 a week ago, but with the Christmas break I've had no chance to ask any questions and I'm now in a very confused state. I've had this diagnosis and been sent away with some tablets and basic instructions on what to do and some stuff to read on line, but

The difference between steroids like Dexamethasone and Medrol Dose Pack, plus radiation of lymph nodes behind the trachea.
My cousin's husband is undergoing radiation. They are giving him 13 spot radiation treatments in a few areas. They found some lymph nodes behind his trachea which they are radiating. They also are radiating 3 thoracic vertebrae, 5, 6, and 7. They are doing all the radiation at one time. I have a lot

Doxycycline down-regulates matrix metalloproteinase expression and inhibits NF-κB signaling
New study below [1]. "Doxycycline, a synthetic tetracycline ..." I have an interest in the PCa/tetracycline literature. The family of drugs is inexpensive, & well-tolerated with long-term use. Several months back Ed Miller reported that: "Ten days of the antibiotic clendamycin lowered my PSA for 3 months

Diabecon availability in Europe?
For the past year, I have been using Diabecon and Diabecon DS with great results. I was diagnosed with insulin resistance a couple of years ago (fasting blood sugar and insulin levels in range but close to upper normal range). According to my doctor, that could explain why I found it so difficult to
