Hi swhwew. I'm curious about your use of metformin. I've listened to Dr Myers' comments and he seems sold on it. I have brought it up to my urologist twice and he's not convinced there is adequate information available on it and wants to wait until current on-going trials are completed. I suggested getting me started on it and then if the trials indicate it is not effective I'll quit and not be any worse off. He counters that my GP would be the one to prescribe it but only if I have a blood sugar problem which I'm confident I do not. I'd like to know what your doctors have to say about it.

Thanks.
