I’m just curious
For about a month or maybe longer I’ve been getting cold and flu like symptoms like my head suddenly feels heavy and ache, headaches and runny nose. I was diagnosed with diabetes back in November and been put on metformin ever since.

I just about 45 minutes ago ate a a defrosted frozen pizza, it’s been in the fridge since last saturday. I went to go and pass wind which turned into diaherrea and I pooped myself. I don’t feel unwell like food poisoning but just can’t leave the toilet. I am currently on metformin but the last time

Depletions of Vitamins and Minerals by Medication
Can anyone point me in the right direction of depletion of Vitamins and minerals by medication. I think there was some government guidance on giving B12 and Vitamins D3, but don't know where to look. My special needs son is low in a few vitamins and I have been supplementing, but this would be better

Good results with LCHF
Some 3 months ago, when I had a debilitating viral fever, my health check up showed pre-diabetes. Doc asked me to start metformin, but in addition I continued with LCHF diet , though not strictly. Then I went for another check-up 2 days ago and the lab tests showed the following results (Sept. figures

Heartburn
As the eating season is nearly with us again, I'd like to know if other prednisolone and Metformin takers experience heartburn. I am down to 7mg pred and just one Metformin a day but the heartburn has been with me for one week now. My GP says stop taking the Metformin but the hospital doctor says no.

What can I do next?
About 4 weeks ago I got diagnosed with diabetes. At first they said it was type 1 because when taking my blood sugar test it came back too 15.7 which was exactly the same as my brother who got diagnosed at 13 with type 1. I had to monitor my blood sugar level for the weekend and go back to the doctor

Metformin & HGPIN.
New Italian study. I know that we are all well beyond HGPIN, but I always report Metformin-PCa news. HGPIN (high grade intraepithelial neoplasia) is considered the precursor of PCa. Not sure what the probability is of finding cancer at the HGPIN stage, but I believe it is low. HGPIN generally leads
