I have been living with type 2 diabetes for six years now. Previously the condition was under control with right food, some medicine and regular modestly heavy exercise.
Recently, due to work and personal stress, undisciplined life style, and typhoid infection, my weight decreased drastically.
With food - exercise combination would help me gain weight in a quick and consistent manner?
I was given plain Insulin injection twice every day, during the treatment for diabetes, for one week. After that, I was prescribed Zoryl for another week. My diabetologist prescribed Metformin SR 500 after that, for two weeks that are yet to pass.

Glimepiride is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood).
