I was switched from 75 to 88 mcgs of levoxyl for hashimotos. I feel great. My TSH is under 1. But my period has completely stopped. why??

Hi being-there,

firstly great news you are feeling so well. Can I ask what levoxyl is I have never heard of that one? i am also a Hashis sufferer and like you do not feel well unless my TSH is supressed. I also suffer from a menstrual cycle which is all over the place and note when I have a low TSH my periods also stop. After worrying about this for years I have learnt that as the endocrine system works as one, having one part going wrong effects the other parts. since my diagnosis I have also been diagnosed with Diabetes, PCOS and adrenal prblems which to me proves how they are all linked. I have no answers I am afraid but just to reassure you that your not alone. Mention it to your doctor to get them to investigate further.
