Let’s see? Bowel perforation and GCA Flare ?
I’ve been absent for a while…Reader’s Digest Version to follow. Though I haven’t been posting, I’ve been reading for a bit, and as usual….” You raise me up,” and I’m grateful. You may recall I had shoulder replacement surgery in July, and my arm is in amazing condition considering the interruptions

Oxygen saturation
Based on our experiences the last few days, I wondered if low oxygen saturation is a common issue in PSP?My husband was taken to A&E in an ambulance on Monday - after ECG, blood tests and chest X-ray, it turned out that his chest pains were just muscular and that his heart and lungs were perfectly fine

Care Home response
Please can I thank everyone who sent a response to my original post. It is encouraging to hear from so many of you who have similar stories. My husband is responding well to the care home and the staff are lovely. I have had a lot of support from the health professionals , consultant, physio, speech

Spinal stenosis
Hi, I am quite new here so unsure how it all works. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, fibro, nerve damage, problems in my knees . I knew about the disc whilst working but saw a chiropractor twice a year & kept fit walking. I'm now unable to work since my back went in 2020. Sciatica

I'm 57 yo post menopausal woman with hypermobility and POTS (POTS only diagnosed in 40's after much pushing with medical profession). I take HRT and meds for POTS. I'm suffering with a number of tendonitis issues and wonder if anyone has any advice about this? At the moment it's achilles tendonitis

Began running at 62
I started running 2 years ago at 62 havning been told by a physio I shouldn't run due to my gait. I did Couch 25k in 6 weeks, loved it and carried on doing my first 10k race 8 months later. Have done 2 more since then.. Took time out for an injury this summer (not running related), and I'm back going

prucalopride - Tips
Hi Have been suffering with chronic constipation for that last 2 years, plus pain in the pelvic floor area & rectum. Mixture of pressure & burning pain. My NHS Gastro & physio appointments are currently 3/4mths apart so if I make any kind of improvement it is diminished by the time I get back to them

Somatic tinnitus
Hi All, I have had T for 7 months. It isn’t hearing related. However, as I have been on this journey, I have noticed that I have the T constant 24/7 that often changes with random spikes. However, I am also experiencing somatic T that I wasn’t fully aware of before. I was diagnosed with TMD and have

I am posting an update and a question. Since discovering I have PMR in Sept 2023 and starting on Pred at 15 mg, I have had a slightly bumpy start to my PMR journey. Was getting used to being on Pred when I had a visit from the Covid fairy which took a couple of weeks to clear, but I still feel I have

Finishing cardiac rehab - what next?
Hi, I've got two weeks left. Making good progress in terms of getting back to my full fitness. I'm a long distance runner. Not sure how to proceed when the six week course ends. I have been considering asking the main cardiac physio if she'd devise me a programme and I'd pay for her time. Not sure. Is

Hey there. I was diagnosed with endo about a month and a half ago. I'm 28 years old and have been married for almost five years. Sexual intimacy is painful. Wearing tampons is painful. A vaginal ultrasound and pelvic exams are painful... I was prescribed physical therapy, however, I was sick last week
