GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER, BACK PAIN AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
The title looks a lot, but it's all related. I've been diagnosed with high blood pressure and taking Perindopril 4 mg. About 2 weeks ago. NP has asked me to monitor BP at home. On Tuesday past, BP was 166/106, rhr was 97 (which is not bad for me). I had stopped the med because it was causing stomach

Hypo type episode on Dapaglaflozin/Forxiga, and Spironolactone, while waiting for a pacemaker upgrade. Advice anyone?
I felt sweaty and shaky after skipping breakfast this morning, and looking at the leaflet for Dapaglaflozin, I see one of the side effects is to cause low blood sugar levels. It's a diabetes drug which has been found to help with Heart Failure patients. It makes you pee away blood sugar. So I ate some

Run low on Meds on holiday
Recently I my wife and I drove to Portugal and unfortunately on the day we were due to start driving back to! WSantander in Spain the car broke down. It was taken to a main dealership and they advised it would take 7 to 8 days for the part to come from the factory. I didn't have enough statins, ramipril

Shock diagnosis and 4 week wait for "Rapid Access" Heart Failure Clinic. Is my Anxiety justified?
Two weeks ago I went for a stress echo test. It was a real shock. After a preliminary echo the test was abandoned. Serious faces and mutterings all round ensued, and a cardiologist came in, studied the screen and told me I had heart failure! She advised me not to go on my planned holiday till I'd seen

Entresto/dapa
HiA year ago I elected to try Entresto and was on a baby dose for 6 months and then up to usual starting dose. The Registrar added in Dapa and reduced my beta blocker to help my low bp and keep me upright. I'm on 320mg of furosemide daily too. Everything is a bit struggly now. Struggling with low bp

Indapamide with levothyroxine?
I have been prescribed Indapamide for high blood pressure. I also have Ramipril which I take in the evening. The Indapamide pack says to take in the morning. Can I take it with my thyroxine? I couldn’t see any contraindications for it but is it going to impede the thyroxine? ShouldI take it at night

Hi, I was taking Indapamide for 4 weeks and my BP was great, however my GP has taken me off them as he said my sodium levels are too low, now I'm on Doxazosin and my BP is right back up and I feel rubbish. Anyone else suffer from low sodium levels and if so is there anything you can take to increase

Puzzling symptoms while exercising beyond 20 minutes!
(One thing to note is that I had these types of symptoms pre-bypass too) I have had hypertension for 25 years: it is controlled well with bisoprolol,
perindopril
and
indapamide
. I have always maintained that I can feel my high blood pressure, but doctors have disagreed.

Indapamide and stomach bloating
Hi, I suffer from high BP and am now on my fourth tablet. Amlodipine and felodipine made me swell everywhere, Lercanidipine gave me an all over body rash, now I'm trying 2.5mg Indapamide. Started taking it 6 days ago and from day 3 I've been suffering with a hard bloated stomach, anyone else suffered

the gold standard?
my gp keeps trying different combinations of BP meds for me as lately I can’t control it even with medication. Is there a really, really good drug that helps but they don’t like to prescribe due to cost? I would happily pay for private prescriptions if it meant my quality of life was improved. Currently

Indapamide
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone was on the drug Indapamide? This is diuretic that also helps control blood pressure. I have been on Amlodipine for about a year and it has kept my blood pressure spot on but I am suffering very swollen ankles and feet, a common side effect I am told. The dr therefore
