Candesartan
I too have changed from Ramipril to Candesartan. I also take Felodipine. Cough has abated and I do not have much in the way of side effects. A runny nose and annoyingly, a sort of fluttering feeling in the chest. No pain and I am still fit enough to walk five or six miles without losing breath but when

amlodipine
My mother is 76 and takes insulin. But she is also on so many pills each chasing the side effects of the others. Recently this came to a head as she was prescribed amlodipine which made her legs swell up. She complained, and the kidney doctors told her to come off amlodipine but the GP would not take

My AF of 2 weeks is being treated with Flecainide, and with Bisoprolol and long-standing drug Felodipine for high blood pressure. My GP called me in for an aftercare appt. this coming Friday and I have ECG and 24hr monitor arranged for 3 weeks hence. But right now I'm plain scared. The symptoms

Concerns
I have a feeling that I am not being listened to. I had a second heart attack 18 months ago and was wrongly diagnosed afterwards with a blood clot and prescribed warfarin (I didn't need it) this caused a GI Bleed and it's been downhill since. I take amlodipine and bisoprolol now and am convinced that

Cause of hypertension unknown
Hello, I’ve was recently in hospital for s night because I had hypertension stage 2, with severe nausea and headaches. I have been taking Amlodipine ever since and my pressure seems to be ok now. Erythromyalgia or something else/more? Mast Cell Activation Disorder?
Bit of history first - I've had Reynaud's since a young girl. No other issues related to anything rheumatalogical other than intermittent ulcers rarely until a few years ago. All of a sudden in the middle of winter whenever I'd hop into bed with the heated blanket on my feet would get burning hot, bright

First time I have started a post
I was diagnosed with PAF about 7 years ago. I am taking Rivoraxaban, Bisoprolol 2.5mg twice a day and Felodipine 5mg. In the main I am managing my AF reasonably well. I have been offered an ablation, but refused on the basis that I don’t think that I am symptomatic enough for such a drastic procedure

Once upon a time....
This post outlines how my diagnosis came about and why I’m feeling a little more positive. I’d been ‘unwell’ for a while, backwards and forwards to the GP with various symptoms that collectively were having a real impact on my life. First, I was told it was pernicious anaemia. That was some time

Blood pressure medication.
I know that a lot of people will probably have high blood pressure due to copd or the meds. We have to take. I was given amlodipine. It worked to bring pressure down. But after a few months. I ended up with sore stomach, nausea and no appetite. It is getting worse to the point I couldn't cope yesterday

Bypass surgery burning, nausea from Amiodarone
My mother had double bypass for AFIB in May 2018. Her surgery was successful but not with some complications. She had two ablations done prior to the bypass. Both being on 4/7/2017 and 11/13/2017. The first ablation procedure was stopped due to a wire nicking an artery. The second was a success. The

Angina
I'm new here though I have been reading a lot of the posts. Was diagnosed with angina nearly a year ago. I've had HBP for many years, probably genetic and was already taking Doxazosin, Felodipine, Losartan, Atorvastatin and an aspirin. The Cardiologist added Bisoprolol and 10mg Isosorbide twice a day
