Hello, I’ve was recently in hospital for s night because I had hypertension stage 2, with severe nausea and headaches.
I have been taking Amlodipine ever since and my pressure seems to be ok now. Gp has run tests and my kidneys, liver, heart, brain and cholesterol are normal, so I was wondering, what could have been the cause? I haven’t been given any answers. I’m a 45 year old woman with no history of heart problems.
Unfortunately, that's like asking why you have a headache.. There could be a thousand things - from the mundane, like genetics, to the unusual, like Chronic Obstructive Sleep Apnea or Hypopnea, to the really unusual like a pheochromacytoma.. I know that isn't much help, but the causes are just too broad.
