Orbita trial
Just a quick update ventured to the gym today for my first aqua class for 8 months, after all the trials and tribulations of this year. So happy managed the 3/4 hour class without any angina. I am beginning to think I must have had the stent at the angioplasty as not any anti angina meds now. If it

5 1/2 years post ablation
It is so nice to come back to this group and find some familiar names still helping other people. My ablation was successful but with difficult 2 months recovery. A few times I had short episodes of general weakness with shortness of breaths. Every time it happened was after having coffee. Now things

One for the ladies!
Hi all, You may recall 12 weeks I posted how terrified I was about my forthcoming CABG operation. I can't thank those of you that responded to my post enough for the support I have had. I am now 11 weeks post, and need help from the ladies.....my ' girls' are mostly still numb... Little sensation on

In April 2021 I had an out of hospital cardiac arrest ,my husband did CPR and I had excellent treatment a stent fitted and luckily as one consultant said “was virtually unscathed “I take regular medication and try to walk regularly and eat sensibly. Due to covid I did not have any face to face rehab

Life Insurance Recommendation
Please can any members recommend a insurance company for life insurance. I'm a 50 year old male with no mortgage. I've had a heart condition since the age of two after receiving open heart surgery 1974 (Mustard Procedure) and in 2019 had a stent fitted to help blood circulation. Many Thanks, Paul

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've posted. It's hard to keep up with my dad's health on my end.. we've had so many close calls that his prostate cancer has felt like a bump on the head compared to all the rest of his concerns! So, to bring everyone up to speed as quickly as I can, dad

Depression ?
5 years now since bypass surgery, and my depression (if that's what it is) is getting worse. Nothing ever phased me before CABG, but now... I find myself crying at something sad on tv. I find myself crying at something happy on tv ! I find myself crying in a restaurant or pub, for no apparent reason

Dental Implants
I had a heart attack back in June last year, had a stent fitted and have recently had a crt d fitted last month. My question is, my teeth are in tatters and I may need to consider implants... will this be possible?

Unexplained symptoms after Heart attack
I had a heart attack in Aug 2020. Was in Cath. lab within 1 hour where they did an angioplasty and found Right Coronary Artery completely occluded. After 2 attempts they mostly cleared the clots, and put me on Rivaroxaban, clopidogrel, aspirin, bisoprolol. They could not put a stent in for technical

struggling to understand why!
hi I’m really struggling coming to terms with having a heart attack 2yrs ago at the age of 43. I’m a woman and told at the time they don’t know what caused my artery to collapse. I had a stent fitted. everytime I have back pain. Sore pressure like feeling in my neck. I think it happening again. Then
