Fantastic post, really cheered up my afternoon, thank you.

So pleased that all is going well and hopefully your pryers will reach those that need them.

Just carry on like your doing, watch any dark thoughts that may appear { totally natural } and grow each day.

Please keep us informed of your next level up, and keep contributing to the forum like you do.

Take care

Thanks for the reply Blue , as mentioned last week I appear to have coped mentally ,so if a dark day appears - I hope I can face it as stoically as others on this forum do .

in reply toBlindRef

You will and the powerful word you used, " if " is the key

Keep taking care

Hi BlindRef,What a lovely story. You are very lucky!! I practically mirror you!! Had my double cabg on 18th January and I am recovering really well physically . I'm being put on a portable heart monitor for a week as my heart is a bit weird when I lie on my side in bed. It's taken me all this time to actually be able to sleep in my own bed!! My chest bone/ sternum swells up and then down during the day too!! I'm wondering if you have had and of these things? The worst thing about the recovery of this op is the emotional recovery!! I got very little if any post op info from my hospital so had to find things out for myself!! I've been told the emotional recovery can take some time!! I'm happy to wait!! I'm just so grateful to be here

Hi Nomander, happily no physical problems other than left breast / shoulder still aches .Only recently found myself asleep on that side without being in agony . As mentioned in other posts mentally coped fine ( wife says I have a heart like a brick ) however I appreciate others have not , so prayers are for those - including yourself . I am not delusional and realise it may hit me some day !!!!
